I am seeing increased number of posts like below where someone will post if they should buy something or not. They will say the price and tell their earning per month.

The thing is most of the people will eventually buy it on EMI and that will be the problem later on. If I see the above post, the guy is earning good and he can buy it PS5 with his one month salary but he will go with the EMI option. And that's why I have given him the advice on saving for it and then buying it.
The sale is going on and we all become little impulsive when we see the items in discount and will go ahead to buy it. The problem is we will not have the money with us and then we have to buy it on EMI and that cycle continues. And that's why I have asked the guy to save it first and in that time he will also be able to think whether to buy it or not.
When we impulse buy we don't think first, we buy and then later regret it. When we save we get the time to think about it and then decide it better whether we want it or not. Also the thing is the age 21 should be for living and not thinking about saving much. Yes if you are saving then it's good but again it should not that you should kill your desire.
If you want something you go for it, if you can save and buy it. I know in the internet we have a saying that it's good to start early but again even if you have some amount for enjoyment it is well and good because that will not come back. For me the enjoyment is taking trips, I could have saved lakhs of money if I didn't go for trip but that life was not really worth it. We have to fully enjoy the life too along with saving for the future.
