As a travel lover, today I wanted to show you this beautiful waterfall. During my stay in Chile I had the great opportunity to see magnificent landscapes, this was allowed by the job I was doing at that time, my first job was in a tourism agency called "Turismo Pewen" in Mapuche "Pewen" is a native tree of Chile which produces a fruit called pine nuts, the Mapuche in Chile is indigenous to the south of the country.

Como amante a los viajes hoy les quería enseñar esta hermosa cascada. En mi estadia en Chile tuve la gran oportunidad de conocer magníficos paisajes, esto me lo permitió el trabajo que ejercía en aquel momento, mi primer trabajo fue en una agencia de turismo llamada "Turismo Pewen" en mapuche "Pewen" es un árbol nativo de Chile el cual da una fruta llamada piñones, los mapuches en Chile es la indígena del sur del país.
An American couple came to the agency looking for a tour to learn about the Mapuche culture, so I offered them this tour to Salto el León and Curarrehue where they were going to taste Mapuche delicacies. Since the guide did not speak any English and I more or less understood, they gave me the valuable job of accompanying and guiding them. A few minutes from Pucón we arrived at Salto El León, we took a not so long walk through the mountains, breathing this pure air and seeing such beautiful greenery around you is relaxing, you must cross a walkway to see it better but the most fun is You feel the icy water splashing on you so the ideal is to wear waterproof clothing as you will get completely wet. In the background we can see a rainbow forming, making this view a blessing.
Una pareja estadounidense vino a la agencia buscando un tour para conocer la cultura mapuche, así que les ofrecí este tour a Salto el León y Curarrehue donde iban a degustar delicias mapuche. Como el guía no hablaba nada de inglés y yo más o menos lo entendía, me dieron el valioso trabajo de acompañarlos y guiarlos. A unos minutos de Pucón llegamos al Salto El León, dimos una caminata no tan larga por la montaña, respirar este aire puro y ver tan hermoso verdor a tu alrededor es relajante, debes cruzar una pasarela para verlo mejor pero lo más divertido Se siente el agua helada salpicándote por lo que lo ideal es llevar ropa impermeable ya que te mojarás por completo. Al fondo podemos ver un arco iris formándose, lo que hace que esta vista sea una bendición.
The El León waterfall is 95 meters high and is located in Araucanía, the tenth region of Chile, approximately 30km from Pucón. El salto El León tiene 95 metros de alto se ubica en la Araucanía la décima región de Chile a 30km aproximadamente de Pucón, una vez que lleguen a Pucón podrán tener una variedad de agencias que ofrecen este tour y si tienes auto basta con colocar el GPS la ruta es de fácil acceso. Sencillamente es un lugar lleno de magia, la naturaleza bien conservada es un tesoro rodeado de vegetación nativa, siendo un complejo turístico aquí también pueden disfrutar de piscinas compartidas o tinajas calientes con vista al salto en nuestro caso no la usamos, pero un lugar perfecto para ir en pareja, o solo para desconectarse de la ciudad.
En esta foto muestro a la pareja visitando el pueblito mapuche Curarrehue, comimos estos postres mapuches a base de piñones, deleitamos café de piñones y fue algo nuevo pero delicioso, que orgullo en aquel momento siendo venezolana haber aprendido de majestuoso lugar y mostrarlo al mundo de alguna manera y hoy poder contarles acá.
