A moment Of Togetherness With My Extended Family That I Look Forward To Every Year

Hi all Hivers friends! How are you today? I hope you are all doing well. Today, I want to share a story that means a lot to me. A story about a warm and festive moment of togetherness during the holidays with my extended family.

The Eid holiday is one of the moments that I look forward to the most every year. Not just because it's a holiday, but because it's a time when I can gather and have fun with my extended family. And this year, I feel very lucky to be able to meet my uncle who came from Jambi and Bali, as well as my aunt who came from Jakarta. Even my cousins who live outside the region also gathered at my grandmother's house.

My grandmother's house, which is usually quiet, is now a place filled with laughter and jokes. During the day, the living room turns into a mini stage. My aunt and uncle duet, singing their favorite songs on the karaoke machine. The sound of laughter and singing fills every corner of the house, creating a warm and festive atmosphere.

However, the evenings are what I look forward to the most. My aunt, who is famous for her delicious Tomyam dishes, was busy in the kitchen. Meanwhile, my uncle, who loves to cook, made grilled chicken with spicy soy sauce. The aroma of their cooking filled the whole house, making my stomach rumble.

After dinner, we all gathered on the terrace of the house. Under the bright moonlight, we enjoyed a warm cup of coffee while sharing stories. Stories about the past, present and future. Laughter and jokes warmed up the evening.

These moments, moments of togetherness with my extended family, have always been unforgettable memories for me. This moment is proof that even though we are different and live in different places, we are still one. We are family.

And now, as I write this, I feel very lucky and grateful. Lucky for having a warm and loving family. Grateful for being able to feel this simple happiness. Thank you so much for stopping by and reading this post. See you in the next post!
