Ho Chi Minh City has always been a topic of conversation lately. I know that Vietnam is one of the tourist destinations for Indonesian travelers because of its unique and interesting place. We can discuss a lot about Ho Chi Minh City, various places can be visited, one of which is the Temple of the Hung Kings which is located in the middle of a very large park in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City.
If we are in Ho Chi Minh City, what is often discussed is the park in the middle of the city to relax. True, even though this city is very densely populated, they have many public spaces that are very proper and in demand by its people. This is where the difference between my city and Ho Chi Minh City is, this city still has places that can be visited by anyone for free.
That afternoon I walked around wanting to unite with the local community. I often do this kind of habit when I am in a new place. I don't know why, it feels like if I am very closed to the community, I can learn a lot of new things. One way is to visit a free public space, where everyone can gather at one point.
That's why I chose the afternoon, besides the super hot weather in Ho Chi Minh City, sometimes this kind of weather is a bit dangerous for the body, especially if you are traveling far. That afternoon there were even a lot of trees that protected this place from the scorching sun. Public space surrounded by tall trees makes it very cool and comfortable to visit.
The spacious place and the provision of comfortable facilities make this place crowded. Some are sitting on chairs daydreaming or reading books, in other places there are people playing games like kicking a ball with a small team and also some are taking pictures of the natural beauty like I did.
The trees here are also super big with decades of existence, they really take care of this place and even provide various trash bins so that they are easy to reach. The uniqueness of this park, I saw a gate and it looked like a temple. That is The Hung Kings Temple. Unfortunately the gate was closed and there was no activity in it. So, I just sat and observed around the temple. The spot I like is the pond with very long water hyacinth.
In addition, there are lots of statues that are accessories to the park. To beautify the garden, of course, there are some interesting things. Statues are one solution to attract attention and you know I really like large cat statues among the plants. Like seeing a cat hiding in one corner of the garden.
