Gut Feeling | A Mixed Media Art Project

For my current mixed media art project, I wanted to share an unusual scene that I felt represents "gut feelings".

Thwarting unpleasantness is a daunting task. Facing uncertainty or deciding to undertake any new venture may carry with it hesitation. A feeling that all may not be right at the present or apprehension at a certain aspect of the venture may rise. You get a feeling in the pit of your stomach alerting you to the uneasiness.

It's called your "gut feeling.

I fused two mixed media type art together to produce this scene. One details a pure fractal I recently created in the advanced version of the fractal rendering software, Apophysis 7X. I then paired with a stable diffusion image I retrieved from StarryAI with my unusual text description that I felt brought out the essence of pain and agony attempting to project itself onto the beautiful and serene part of one's life.

Below are my steps:

I utilize Canva as my design program. To blend the images, I upload all into the program. As part of my upgraded Annual Pro Membership Subscription, I'm afforded tools that assist in creating my project such as background removal, filtering, colorizing, resizing, and animation if desired.

Below are my procedures.

To a blank, white canvas, I added my multi-colored fractal, then resized it to fit the entire screen.

Added the "Sun Flare" fractal and layered it over my Multi-Colored fractal on the left hand side.

Added my "Just A Circle" fractal.

Resized the circle fractal, then duplicated it to fit the right hand side of the screen.

Added the stable diffusion female image.

Removed the female's background, resized and positioned it to the left hand side of the screen. Completed the project.
