Bud, Bloom [Poetry]

    Shyness doesn't become you
    A little peep
    In the garden's quiet embrace
    You hide away
    Or so I thought
    Searching, seeking
    To see that floral beauty
In the tender light of the morning
    As the sun rises

Would I uncover this bud a tiny petal
    To glimpse the wondrous sight
That many eyes yearn for at it's full bloom
A sight that calms the soul
With awe at its floral beauty
    Flaunting colours that the artist
Can never paint onto his canvas
    Though embracing hues close enough
    To make the heart flutter

Every part of you is a poet's muse
    An artist's daydreams and wish
    A perfumer's delight
To extract fragrances that empty wallets
    A lover's weapon
    Against the beloved
    For words are insufficient
The sight of your bloom and scent
    To enchant her forever.
