Chiro Joy, Temps, Seedlings, Chores, Rain Again, PDC Night 2, Fireplace - Thursday

Yesterday morning after getting the boys to school I headed to my chiro appointment. @stryeyz worked from home as she isn't feeling the best but she worked from her studio most of the day. At the chiro it was decompression on my lower back day and after I went to the room for my adjustment. This machine is a rolling massager that runs up and down the spine. I LOVE IT and tend to set it pretty high. It feels wonderful and I am able to pop a bunch of vertebra on my own.

Back home I headed to the greenhouse to check the temps. At 10:30am it was 54F. I reset the high and low markers so I get a better idea of the temp swings overnight. It's supposed to be 25F tomorrow night so it will be a good test of the S9 keeping the place above freezing.

The spinach are looking amazing and are the tallest of the seedlings.

The radishes are coming up slowly which is weird since they are the 18 De Jour which are an 18 day radish, but these are WELL, WELL beyond the 18 day range. They mean 18 days under perfect conditions.

We got more rain, again as the storm sat over us much of the day. There wasn't that much rain but it was a constant drizzle. The snow is just about all gone now and the soil is drying out some. It was some years back that we had a really warm winter and I was able to start tilling the garden in late February. This year may be very much the same which could mean I might get an extra few weeks of growing season.

Mid day the PDC night 2 from Berlin came on and it was a great set of matches which all went to 6-4 or 6-5 and were really competitive. Luke Littler and MVG were in the final and MVG won barely.

I got my clothes washed washed and put away, picked the boys up from school, made sure to keep the fire going in the fireplace all day to keep the house warmed, Then got dinner ready for us in the evening.

We were out to soak an hour earlier than normal and I was able to make it about an hour. The rain had finally stopped about dark and we are looking to be largely clear sky today.

Up at my normal time this morning of 4am but I still got nearly 7 hours of sleep. This morning I get the boys to school, I'm going to buzz my hair off, clean the deck and patio areas, work on various misc chores, keep the fire going in the fireplace, pick the boys up from school, get a fire going in the pit and then grill for dinner.
