🦉 The azure tit (Cyanistes cyanus hyperrhiphaeus)
- Cyanistes kyaneos (Greek), cyaneus (Latin) dark blue
- cyanus Greek: kyanos dark blue
- hyperrhiphaeus Greek: hyperrheō to overflow, phaios dark, dull

It is not so easy to meet these birds in the vicinity of my city. Moreover, you need to know where to look for them. And you need to look for them near rivers in the forest. But it is not a fact that you will meet them there, because the birds are quite rare. However, there are places where I meet them constantly, every year in the same place. These are flooded meadows in the steppes of the neighboring region.

In itself, it is a typical tit, with the same behavior as other birds of this family, and even the voice is similar. However, I have long noticed that they are more agile than other species. They are able to climb to the tip of thin branches and almost tumble and hang upside down to examine the leaves for seeds or insects.
