Old Dubai and new Dubai seen from Dubai Frame
Hello friends from around the world
How was the end of the year for you?
The end of the year caught me in the family just as I wanted, I chose this end of the year to have quiet and enjoy precious moments in the family without too much fuss.
Here in western Romania the beginning of the year is rainy and it's not really a good time for walks, why I say this, because I was going to take a walk here in the first days of the year in an area where I have never been before.
So I chose to share with you another experience I had last year at the end of December in Dubai.
When it comes to Dubai this country does not need any description here you will surely find everything you want or even some things you never dreamed of, if you are curious about other things to visit here in Dubai you can search in my older posts and you will discover other fantastic places.
So today I want to discover together the old, the new and the future at Dubai Frame.
What is Dubai Frame?
It's a huge photo frame (that's how I see it) and once you go up to the top level you'll discover the real view of many areas here.
In Dubai we used public transportation mostly the metro but also their Uber (careem).
Dubai Frame is an imposing building with a height of 150 meters and is located in Zabeel Park, one of the main attractions in Dubai.
Before arriving in Dubai, we bought most of the entrance tickets to the sights we had planned to visit during our visit here so as not to wait in huge queues, but even so we waited a long time.
As far as I remember the price of a ticket was 52AED/13,6euro, we bought several tickets from several targets, in fact we had combined tickets to get a better price.
When we arrived at Zabeel Park we looked to see which row we had to wait in before we could go up to the last level.
Even though we had tickets booked in advance we had to wait in a queue and yes we spent more than an hour in line, but we are used to waiting in queues so it was no problem.
Being only two elevators going up explains why it took so long.
After more than an hour we manage to get in, before you get to the elevators that take you up you have to go through a very beautiful museum, I saw many people who due to the long waiting time did not have the patience to visit the museum so or rushed to the elevators.
We were patient, visited this museum that we liked too and then headed to the elevators.
In a few seconds I was already on the top level, I was dying of curiosity to see the city from above, but not only that, I knew that from the top level of Dubai Frame you could see the old Dubai and the new Dubai.
Plus, we chose our visit so that we could catch the sunset, which was the icing on the cake.
Another attraction in Dubai Frame was the 50 meters long floor, but not just any floor and a transparent glass floor, when you walked on it was an amazing sensation because you could see down.
Old Dubai.
I was very amused to see that not many people had the courage to pass on the floor, there were some girls who at one point were screaming in fear, and yes, that was an amazing experience.
Well, after more than two hours spent here our visit came to an end, we were so happy that we had the opportunity to see so many fabulous sights and we were amazed by the Dubai in the evening.
THE END!
