    Not much longer to go

It seems like this grow has been going on for ages now. It started off pretty rocky a few months ago. I went through about 3 sets of seedlings before I realized my lighting was off and I was killing the seedlings shortly after they sprouted.

Now, these two ladies are just about ready for harvest. They are still producing lots of new trichomes and fattening up more and more each day.

You can see how the tips of a lot of the trichomes are clear. That means that they are not quite ready for harvest. Once they all become milky, that means that they are their optimal THC levels.

I like to give them a bit longer once they become milky so that they begin to change to an amber color. The amber color will give me more of a body high and the head high wont be as intense.

The stronger body high gives me the pain relief that I am looking for. It also creates more of a relaxing high.

The weather here is starting to warm up quickly. Tomorrow we will be in the 90s, which means that my tent will begin to get hotter as well if I don't do anything to cool the grow room.

I think I have about a week or two left before these will be ready. I do not want to rush them because I want them to be the best weed I have ever grown. They are already shaping up to be the best. These last couple weeks are crucial in ensuring that I get the most out of this grow.

I have a really nice fade going now on the GDP. The OG Kush started to fade quite a while ago. Hopefully it didn't start too early because the buds on it are really sucking all the nutrients out of the plant. I am going to feed them a small amount of Explode and Cal Mag today and then from here on out, it will be nothing but water as the plants suck up everything from the soil and begin to flush their system out. A nice flush is supposed to help with flavor, so it will be cool to see if these ladies taste different from the last ones I grew.

If you are a cannabis enthusiast, stay tuned cause my next post will be showcasing the amazing colors that I have going on in the tent.
