Rising Star - I choose one song per day, Daily Rising Star statistics and giveaway of 150,000 starbits - Natural Born Killaz: Ice Cube & Dr Dre

In this space I will be giving away STARBITS, sharing my experience with a song, telling how I discovered it, and providing interesting information about it. Then I will include several tables with statistics of the Rising Star game.

After I finished going through the hundred songs provided by Spotify that I listened to the most in the last year, I have thought of adding songs of my choice from my "Like" list that has more than 1000 songs. The last song I talked about in my last post was: Dont Push Me of 50 Cent, Eminem & Lloyd Banks.

My song of choice on Spotify for today's post is Natural Born Killaz of the artist Ice Cube and Dr Dre.

Just three years ago, I was bored on Netflix until I found a documentary called “Explicit Lyrics” or Straigth Outta Compton. This series was a kind of documentary of the band N.W.A, that until that moment I didn't know of their existence except for their song Express Yourself.

I loved the documentary, becoming a fan of Dr Dre and Ice Cube. In the documentary itself, it shows the moment in which both artists fought over a money issue with the manager, which has led to songs like “No Vaseline” by Ice Cube and Nuthin But to “G” Thang by Dr Dre, where they directly insult each other.

However, after the death of Eazy-E (one of the members of the band N.W.A), they reconciled and collaborated on songs like Chin Check, Natural Born Killaz and Street Kings.

Ice Cube was born in 1969, in Los Angeles, California. He achieved success after being a member of the legendary rap band N.W.A, one of the founders of Gangsta Rap, thanks to his 1988 album Straight Outta Compton.

In 1989, Ice Cube left the band due to disputes with its members and the group's manager. So he began his solo career, releasing albums such as Amerikka Most Wanted and Death Certificate.

Natural Born Killaz is a song by Ice Cube, released in collaboration with Dr Dre for the soundtrack of “Muder Was the Case”. Thanks to this release, both members were able to make peace after their feud in N.W.A.

The new format will be similar to the one we used some time ago, using the Hive Tools application.
