    Hausa culture and traditions are interesting and rich in customs. It reflects history and norms of the Hausa, they are originated from Nigeria,Ghana and Niger.

    Hausa people have different cultural practices and traditions like their naming ceremonies are one of the most important life events. They have a ceremonial head wrapping ritual for notable men.
    They are influence by Islam and this play a fatal role in their culture. They celebrate Salah (Eid-al-kabir and Eid-al-fitr festivals).
    Their wedding ceremony is usually a traditional one (where the bride will have her hand designed with henna paste)

    Waist beads is also common among the Hausa(s) kayamanta,which is believed to enhance beauty.

    Hausa people are very respectful towards elders and their cultural practices, they welcome visitors and they are very accommodating in nature.
    They have strong religious believe in Islam they are known for that , they prractices monarchy system of government in the community settings i.e Emirates are the traditional leaders of the community or their emir. They are good farms both crop farming and livestock farmimg , they are also a good trader in aspects of promoting their business.

    Hausa people are rich in art and crafts, textile dyeing , pottery ( designing of calabash, moulding of pot ),leather works ,wood craving and henna designing .

    We have notable leaders from Hausa tribe in Nigeria the likes of Usman Dan fodio, General murtala Muhammad,Nana Asam'u and many more notable role model and mentors from the Hausa tribe in Nigeria.
