Had an event last December with Eat & Cook. They did a kitchen takeover coinciding with our 3rd anniversary.
One of the dishes they had was a slow braised beef that they paired with a Mantao bun. It was their level-up version of our street food 'Roti John'.
After the event there were lots of leftover which they left to us to use so I used the beef and made a spaghetti with beef ragu for our staff meal the next day.
A simple dish since I needed to only cook the pasta then heat up the leftover ragu and top it on. It had a spicy kick to it and had a deep rich beefy flavor to the sauce. You can tell it's been cooked for hours with lots of attention to detail. It was so so good!
Paired perfectly and such a satisfying meal to have for dinner!
