Been a busy 3 weeks for me that I didn't notice that we are already in 2nd week of June! That obviously means I am late with doing my June bullet journal layout. As much as possible, I would like to be early with making them because I really NEED to continue doing this otherwise if I break the habit it's gonna be so hard for me to get back to it.
I had to rush doing the layout so I don't forget whatever it is that I did for the past 2 weeks so I can still write something during those days. :D
Do you also see months with colors? Like, for me, January always look orange, December is dark blue, etc etc. For June, it's pink for some reason. :D So I went with the pink theme and it's also cos I have a lot of pink tapes that I can use.
I still copied the same layout from the previous months since it just works so well for me that changing things now would confuse me. But maybe I would want to change things up at some point if I got all the energy and interest. :D
June 1 falls on a Saturday so I just put that together with the second week so I can always start the third week on a Sunday.
A lot of times I don't "plan" ahead. I just write whatever I did the day right after I did them haha. I like the documentation and also so when I look back on those weeks I can be reminded that I was actually productive because I tend to forget them a lot.
I'm really glad that I am able to keep it up this far cos I usually don't. The change in themes and customizing them really worked well for me and even though I am not in my journaling hyperfixation, I am still able to maintain that stable interest in writing things down.
I guess it's also the fact that I don't have to think about the layout anymore encourages me to just do it. :D
