Una vez más he caído en ver una serie en emisión y aparentemente, es algo que continuará ocurriendo, pero de esas otras hablaremos en otra oportunidad.
Te cuento que hemos terminado el año viendo “When the phone rings” y hemos comenzado el año con los dos últimos episodios de la serie, así que al terminarla tenía muchísimas ganas de invitarte a verla.

Once again I have fallen into watching a series on air and apparently, it is something that will continue to happen, but we will talk about those others another time.I'll tell you that we finished the year watching "When the phone rings" and we started the year with the last two episodes of the series, so after finishing it I really wanted to invite you to watch it.
Aquí pensando en cómo explicarte de qué va, diría que desde el comienzo es un poco misteriosa y eso se mantiene a lo largo de varios capítulos, ya bastante avanzada la trama te percatas de que hay algo de romance y ese viene a ser la temática fundamental.
De los actores recuerdo haber visto a Yoo Yeon-seok (interpreta a Baek Sa-eon) como médico pediatra en “Pasillos de hospital” donde el carisma no le faltó y los recursos para apoyar a niños que requerían cirugías de alto presupuesto tampoco.
A la actriz Chae Soo-bin (interpreta a Hong Hee-joo) la recuerdo de “No soy un robot” que es un drama romántico que vale la pena tener en la lista, si aún no lo has visto.

Ahora bien, en los primeros capítulos nos presentan a un vocero de la presidencia llamado Baek Sa-eon, cuyo trabajo tiene mucha relevancia para la nación y quien solo está abnegado a esas labores diplomáticas.
El siguiente personaje resulta ser su esposa, que lleva por nombre Hong Hee-joo y que aparentemente es muda además de que trabaja como intérprete de señas en una televisora nacional.
En primera instancia, sabemos que están casados pero no tienen una buena relación, no es un matrimonio feliz así que surge la duda de por qué están juntos, si solamente comparten una vivienda más no son reconocidos como una pareja oficialmente.

Now, in the first chapters we are introduced to a presidential spokesman named Baek Sa-eon, whose work is very important for the nation and who is apparently only devoted to those diplomatic tasks.The next character turns out to be his wife, named Hong Hee-joo, who is apparently mute and works as a sign interpreter at a national television station.
In the first instance, we know that they are married but they do not have a good relationship, it is not a happy marriage so the question arises as to why they are together, if they only share a house but they are not officially recognized as a couple.
A medida que avanza la historia, nos indican que ellos se casaron por un matrimonio concertado entre sus dos familias y hay un trasfondo complicado en ese vinculo porque Baek Sa-on era novio de la hermana mayor de Hong Hee-joo antes y decidieron suspender ese matrimonio, así que para ambas familias mantener el acuerdo, se terminó casando con la hermana menor de la familia.
Hasta ahí estaba bastante sorprendida porque resulta que no se aman y llevan 3 años viviendo bajo el mismo techo, pero cada quien en sus cosas, sin interferir en lo que le ocurre al otro. Toda esa vida estructurada y basada en acuerdos, se moviliza cuando el vocero recibe una llamada a su teléfono personal donde le notifican que han secuestrado a su esposa.
Esa llamada le resulta sin importancia porque nadie afuera de su familia sabe que está casado, entonces, no había manera de que alguien secuestrara a Hong Hee-joo. Baek Sa-on está bastante seguro de que realmente no tienen. a su esposa porque ha llamado a su suegra y ella le ha confirmado que su esposa está con ella, que cenarán juntas y luego se irá a su casa.

As the story progresses, we are told that they got married through an arranged marriage between their two families and there is a complicated background to that bond because Baek Sa-on was Hong Hee-joo's older sister's boyfriend before and they decided to call off that marriage, so for both families to keep the agreement, he ended up marrying the younger sister of the family.Up to that point I was quite surprised because it turns out that they don't love each other and have been living under the same roof for 3 years, but each in their own things, not interfering in what happens to the other. All that structured life, based on agreements, is mobilized when the spokesman receives a call to his personal phone where he is notified that his wife has been kidnapped.
The call is unimportant to him because no one outside his family knows that he is married, so there is no way anyone could have kidnapped Hong Hee-joo. Baek Sa-on is pretty sure that he doesn't really have his wife because he called his mother-in-law and she confirmed that his wife is with her, that they will have dinner together and then he will go home.
Todo eso es mentira porque lo de la llamada persiste y al mismo tiempo te muestran que si la han secuestrado, ella está en el carro escuchando la conversación de su secuestrador con su esposo, donde aparentemente a él no le importa en lo absoluto que algo le pase.
Luego de terminarla, podría decir que destaco la inclusión del lenguaje de señas en una serie, me resultó refrescante ese agregado a la trama y Chae Soo-bin se ganó mi respeto por todo el trabajo que habrá tenido para prepararse .
Adicionalmente, rescato la importancia de la comunicación en pareja , la forma en la que después del misterio revelan la faceta romántica de los personajes y como nos muestran los secretos que marcaban a ambas familias porque fue lo que me mantuvo viéndola cada semana.

Additionally, I appreciate the importance of communication in couples, the way in which after the mystery they reveal the romantic side of the characters and how they show us the secrets that marked both families because it was what kept me watching it every week.
La serie cuenta con 12 capítulos y la puedes ver en Netflix, estuve intrigada hasta el capitulo 11 porque una parte del final perdió bastante contexto en relación a toda la trama, pero igualmente vale la pena verla porque tiene escenas muy buenas por acción o por ternura.
Siendo sincera el final me exasperó un poco porque parecía que iban a echar toda la historia por el inodoro, pero alguien se dió cuenta que la estaban 💩 y nos dieron a los espectadores lo que queríamos ver.

The series has 12 chapters and you can watch it on Netflix, I was intrigued until chapter 11 because part of the end lost enough context in relation to the whole plot, but still worth watching because it has very good scenes for action or tenderness.Being honest the ending exasperated me a bit because it seemed like they were going to flush the whole story down the toilet, but someone realized they were 💩 and gave us viewers what we wanted to see.
