En el respeto a las diversas religiones, no debemos tener miedo a manifestar y/o expresar el valor esencial que tiene la presencia de la Virgen María en nuestra fe católica, pues, ella siempre estuvo presente tanto en la vida de Jesucristo como en la vida de cada uno de sus seguidores. De hecho, prestemos atención al detalle del nacimiento de las primeras comunidades cristianas, cómo se reunían para hacer oración junto a María (Véase Hecho de los Apóstoles 1,14). Por ello, también hoy nosotros exultamos de gozo en el culto de veneración que le profesamos a nuestra madre celestial, en sus diversas advocaciones.
En mi parroquia acabamos de recibir la visita de la imagen de la Divina Pastora, quien eleva nuestro espíritu a las cosas del cielo. En este caso un advocación excelente para hablar sobre ser una comunidad de fe, es decir, una familia que se une porque se siente convocada por un mismo Dios que les llama a vivir la comunión entre ellos y a realizar la misma entre todos los seres humanos que habitamos esta tierra, en efecto, por encima de cualquier diferencia que podamos tener habitamos una "misma casa", al final estamos todo bajo un mismo techo, y todos los esfuerzos para tener una sana convivencia son loables y necesarios.
En este sentido, para los católicos la presencia de María es también fundamental, creemos en el dicho de que detrás de todo gran ser humano hay una gran mujer (la que le dio a luz o influyó de manera determinante en su formación), en nuestra camino de fe (nacimiento, crecimiento y maduración) confiamos en la continua compañía de María que nos lleva de la mano a la comunión con Dios a través de su hijo, Jesucristo.
En efecto, según el evangelio de Juan, el primer milagro que realiza Jesús es a petición de su madre, pues no había vino para la boda de unos recién casados (Véase Juan 2,1-12). Éste vino representa la fe, la esperanza, el amor y cualquier otro vacío que tengamos en nuestras vidas, sólo el Señor Dios que nos creó lo puede llenar y María, como su madre y la nuestra también, es el punto de encuentro entre la bondad infinita del Salvador y nuestras más profundas necesidades.
Que María como Pastora nos reúna para llevar a cabo el fin para el cual Dios nos llama a alabarle y vivir en su presencia, esto es, ser una familia unida por auténticos lazos de una comunión que va mucho más allá de cualquier tipo de diferencias, pues, ella como una buena madre nos sugiere ver y afianzar mas lo que nos une y no lo que nos separa. Nos anima a pedirle a Dios ese vino que falta en nuestras vidas para dar esos pasos que nos ayudan a construir esa comunión que Dios desea para la humanidad y así podamos tener un desarrollo integral e inclusivo para todos por igual.
ENGLISH VERSION
In respecting different religions, we should not be afraid to manifest and/or express the essential value that the presence of the Virgin Mary has in our Catholic faith, because she was always present both in the life of Jesus Christ and in the life of each of his followers. In fact, let us pay attention to the detail of the birth of the first Christian communities, how they gathered to pray together with Mary (See Acts of the Apostles 1:14). Therefore, today we also rejoice in the worship of veneration that we profess to our heavenly mother, in her various advocations.
In my parish we have just received the visit of the image of the Divina Pastora, who elevates our spirit to the things of heaven. In this case an excellent advocation to talk about being a community of faith, that is, a family that comes together because it feels called by the same God who calls them to live in communion with each other and to carry it out among all the human beings who inhabit this earth, in fact, above any difference we may have we inhabit the "same house", in the end we are all under the same roof, and all efforts to have a healthy coexistence are laudable and necessary.
In this sense, for Catholics the presence of Mary is also fundamental, we believe in the saying that behind every great human being there is a great woman (the one who gave birth to him or influenced his formation in a decisive way), in our path of faith (birth, growth and maturation) we trust in the continuous company of Mary who leads us by the hand to communion with God through her son, Jesus Christ.
Indeed, according to the Gospel of John, the first miracle that Jesus performs is at the request of his mother, because there was no wine for the wedding of a newly married couple (See John 2:1-12). This wine represents faith, hope, love and any other emptiness we have in our lives, only the Lord God who created us can fill it and Mary, as his mother and ours too, is the meeting point between the infinite goodness of the Savior and our deepest needs.
May Mary as Shepherdess gather us together to carry out the purpose for which God calls us to praise him and live in his presence, that is, to be a family united by authentic bonds of a communion that goes far beyond any type of differences, because, she as a good mother suggests us to see and strengthen more what unites us and not what separates us. She encourages us to ask God for that wine that is missing in our lives to take those steps that help us to build that communion that God desires for humanity and thus we can have an integral and inclusive development for all alike.
