Another day, another café hopping~
if Im being honest, I prefer use free public spaces to doing some work because I don’t have to feel guilty for staying longer. However, sometimes changing atmosphere is also needed. So that day I went to Titik Koma. In Surabaya, this café located in several different areas but I went to the one on Rungkut Street, East Surabaya.
My first impression of this café is how warm it looks. The design, the layout, and also the ambiance. With brown as the main color used in this café, it creates a calming atmosphere for the visitors. It also feels like every corner of this café is worth to taking a picture of. They sell bakery too, but I only ordered their famous tiger-milk coffee. I wont talk much about it because I don’t really know anything about coffee tasting notes😁 but since it can’t be served without sugar, I think the coffee is not too strong for me. It was fine though, because its enough to accompany me throughout the zoomcall that day.
The spots that caught my attention the most was the one facing the window with power outlet for each seat. I know that cafés are generally working-friendly no matter how the seating layout is designed, but I didn’t know many cafés that have a spot like this, plus it looks so cozy too! The window faces the street which has greenery view makes it quite relaxing. I sat on one of those chairs for convenient purpose of charging my laptop whenever I need to.
There were some t-shirts that I believe were their merchandise. They also has little shelves with several books on it. I checked some of the books that placed near my seat spot and as far as I remember they were comics and picture books. I think customers can read it there but I’m not really sure because I didn’t try to read anyway.
This café has a second floor but I didn’t go up stairs to check it out. From the pictures I saw on the internet, the second floor also has spots with power outlets so its working-friendly as well. I was actually one of the first customer that day, but when more people come in, the atmosphere was still pretty calm in my opinion. I don’t know if I will revisiting this Titik Koma or try another one in a different area. Maybe I’ll let you guys know😁
Thankyou so much for reading. Upvote for another café hopping posts, reblog is also appreciated :)
