Not everyone who knows me knows that I am a man who loves telenovelas and all its derivatives, and precisely this passion was born in my childhood, when my grandmother took care of me after school and I had to accompany her to watch her telenovelas, usually Colombian, since that is what was broadcast on RCTV at one o'clock in the afternoon. The first telenovela I saw in my life was Las Juanas, where great stars that would accompany me for the rest of my life like Miguel Varoni and Catherine Siachoque were consolidated. I have repeated many novelas from the 90's and early 2000's with Jhoxiris who knows nothing about novelistic culture hahaha, I have brought to his life Betty, la fea, Pasión de Gavilanes, la Mujer de Judas and even Xica D'Silva, but I have never been able to see that first version of Las Juanas that captivated me in my childhood, although I am still working on it.
No todo los que me conocen saben que soy un hombre que ama las telenovelas y todos sus derivados, y precisamente esta pasión nació en mi infancia, cuando me cuidaba mi abuela después de la escuela y me tocaba acompañarla a ver sus telenovelas, generalmente colombianas, ya que es lo que transmitían en RCTV a la una de la tarde. La primera telenovela que vi en mi vida fue Las Juanas, donde se consolidaron grandes estrellas que me acompañarían por el resto de mi vida como Miguel Varoni y Catherine Siachoque. He repetido muchas novelas de los 90 e inicios de los 2000's con Jhoxiris que no sabe nada de cultura novelística jajaja, he traído a su vida a Betty, la fea, Pasión de Gavilanes, la Mujer de Judas y hasta Xica D'Silva, pero jamás he podido ver aquella primera versión de Las Juanas que me cautivó en la infancia, aunque sigo trabajando en ello.
Las Juanas has been recreated many times already, but I have never seen any of its versions until now. We currently have an internet connection problem at home, although more than a problem, it's really that we have no internet service, so you know how crazy it is for me to keep posting daily on Hive, but somehow I manage it. We've been using our Netflix with the phone lines and everything had been fine until recently when the megas consumption has been stronger, so to solve I pulled out my old DVD player and went shopping for a random TV series. Among all the titles they offered me was La Venganza de las Juanas and I couldn't resist, and this way I started to relive that story I knew as a kid, only now everything is more violent and sexual hahaha, evidently there are many changes to catch the new generations, but the most important thing is that this is not a telenovela, but a series of less than 20 episodes.
Las Juanas se ha recreado muchas veces ya, pero nunca he visto ninguna de sus versiones hasta ahora. Actualmente tenemos un problema en casa de conexión a internet, aunque más que un problema, realmente es que no tenemos servicio de internet, así que sabrán lo loco que es para mí mantenerme publicando a diario en Hive, pero de alguna manera lo logro. Hemos estado usando nuestro Netflix con las líneas telefónicas y todo había estado bien hasta hace poco cuando el consumo de megas ha estado más fuerte, así que para solucionar saqué mi viejo reproductor de DVD's y me fui a comprar una serie de televisión al azar. Entre todos los títulos que me ofrecieron estaba La Venganza de las Juanas y no me pude resistir, y de esta manera comencé a revivir aquella historia que conocí de niño, solo que ahora todo es más violento y sexual jajaja, evidentemente hay muchos cambios para atrapar a las nuevas generaciones, pero lo más importante es que esto no es una telenovela, sino una serie de menos de 20 episodios.
The story is always interesting for the spectator, since they are sisters who do not know each other and identify each other because they all have a mole on their buttocks in the shape of a fish. After they meet, the search to discover their past begins, which is a constant in all versions of Las Juanas. This Netflix version added several little things that made it interesting, like one of the main characters was in love with her own brother, but I knew they were related. On the other hand Juana Mane in Netflix is a stripper, but she keeps the same personality characteristics of the Colombian Juana Mane who was a boxer, I liked that change. Everything I saw is a very, very modern version of the story, but totally recommendable for suspense and telenovela drama lovers.
La historia siempre es interesante para el espectador, ya que son hermanas que se desconocen y se van identificando porque todas tienen un lunar en un glúteo con forma de pez. Luego de encontrarse comienza la búsqueda por descubrir su pasado, esa es una constante en todas las versiones de Las Juanas. Esta versión de Netflix agregó varias cositas que la hicieron interesante, como que una de las protagonistas estaba enamorada de su propio hermano, pero yo sabían que eran parientes. Por otra parte Juana Mane en Netflix es una stripper, pero guarda las mismas características de la personalidad de la Juana Mane colombiana que era boxeadora, me gustó ese cambio. Todo lo que vi es una versión muy, muy moderna de la historia, pero totalmente recomendable para los amantes del suspenso y de los dramas de telenovelas.
Something that captivates in this version besides the beauty of its protagonists is the great acting of everyone, I think my favorite was Carlos Ponce, a man I have followed since the nineties and who convinces me more and more with his characters, but we will also find important actresses like Zuria Vega, Ivan Amozurrutia and Renata Notni, who I did not know and now I am her biggest fan 😅 Please do not miss La Venganza de las Juanas, you will not regret it...
Algo que cautiva en esta versión además de la belleza de sus protagonistas es la gran actuación de todos, creo que mi favorito fue Carlos Ponce, un hombre que he seguido desde los noventas y que cada vez me convence más con sus personajes, pero también encontraremos a actrices importantes como Zuria vega, Iván Amozurrutia y Renata Notni, a quien no conocía y ahora soy su más grande fan 😅 Por favor, no se pierdan La Venganza de las Juanas, no se van a arrepentir...
