Mushroom Hunting at Daolong Hill

in voilk •  last month

Hello all friends, I am happy to meet again at #Fungi Friday organized by @ewkaw on the occasion of this blessed Friday. Hopefully we are all in good health so we have the opportunity to see various beauties, including seeing some of the photos that I will post this time. Here are some photos of the mushrooms in my post last Sunday.

On the Daolong hill climb I was truly blessed to find various types of beautiful mushrooms from shape to color. I found mini toadstools on a pile of rocky material. Even though it is small, it looks beautiful and is almost perfect in the shape of an umbrella.

On a rotting tree trunk I found a type of mushroom that can be consumed, this is a type of wood ear mushroom. I say this mushroom can be consumed because this type of mushroom was once added to soup when my wife cooked and it tasted very delicious.

On another rotten log I found several reddish yellow and red mushrooms. These mushrooms have almost the same shape but different colors. I don't know exactly what differentiates the colors. Is it possible that the material where it grows affects the color? It could be that the shape of the mushroom may be the same but the color is different because it is influenced by the place where the mushroom grows.

Thank you to all friends who stopped by my post this Friday. Hopefully by seeing the various beautiful shapes and colors of mushrooms we will be more convinced that there are many natural wonders that we can enjoy if we are given the health and opportunity. Hopefully we are all in good health.
