Greetings, friends of Cinetv, this time I bring you a film that many people don't realize is so intelligent. Released in 1981, it won an Oscar for Best Makeup, was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film, and for the César Award for Best Picture and Best Director for Frenchman Jean-Jacques Annaud, who directed actor Ron Perlman, who years later would become the face of Hell boy. We're talking about the film Quest for Fire, a prehistoric film that shows the importance of fire for the survival of prehistoric tribes and how they fought for its possession. Throughout the film, we observe the evolution of language, weapons, and the development of hierarchies, roles, and social norms within the tribes, demonstrating values such as commitment and teamwork. It's a very good film, and I recommend watching it with the aim of learning more than entertainment. Although it doesn't feature any form of dialogue, it's understandable.
Saludos amigos de Cinetv en esta oportunidad les traigo una película que mucha gente no sabe lo inteligente que es, estrenada en 1981 y ganadora de un Óscar por mejor maquillaje, nominada al globo de oro como mejor película extranjera, y a los Cesar a la mejor película y al mejor Director al francés Jean-Jacques-Annaud quien dirige al actor Ron Perlman quien años más tardes se convertiría en el rostro de HELLBOY. Hablamos de la película EN BUSCA DEL FUEGO, una película prehistorica que muestra la importancia del fuego para la supervivencia de las tribus prehistóricas y cómo luchaban por su posesión. A lo largo de la película, se observa la evolución del lenguaje, las armas y el desarrollo de jerarquías, roles y normas sociales dentro de las tribus, demostrando valores como el compromiso y el trabajo en equipo. Es muy buena película y la recomiendo ver con perspectiva de aprender más que de entretener. Aunque no cuenta con ninguna forma de diálogo, se puede entender.

In some scenes of the film, such as when the protagonists embark on the search for fire, and when the mammoths are found, the leader takes the initiative in actions and feeds them, followed by his companions.
En varias escenas podemos ver enfrentamientos entre las distintas tribus por la posesión del fuego, ya que como no saben crearlo se vuelve de vital importancia para su supervivencia, por lo que es necesario hacer todo lo posible para protegerlo, el lenguaje inicialmente estaba representado solamente mediante gritos y sonidos, al finalizar podemos ver como se establece una mejor comunicación entre ellos. Para enfrentarse a las tribus de caníbales, desarrollan nuevas armas que los ayudan a ganar el enfrentamiento. Los liderazgos políticos los podemos evidenciar, ya que se observa una jerarquía de poder en la tribu. Por ejemplo, el líder es un sujeto joven que demuestra fuerza y respeto, ya que toma decisiones y sus compañeros lo siguen. En algunas escenas de película, como cuando los protagonistas emprenden la búsqueda por el fuego, y cuando se encuentran los mamuts, el líder toma la iniciativa en las acciones y los alimenta, seguidamente sus compañeros hacen lo mismo.

Podemos observar expresiones artísticas en todos los miembros de la tribu cuando usaban pintura en su cuerpo, esto para identificarlos y protegerlos, cuando estaban en la búsqueda del fuego, se encontraron con distintas tribus que tenían costumbres y rituales diferentes, se puede observar como la tribu que podía crear el fuego tienen conocimiento más avanzado que la tribu de los caníbales, en algunas escenas vemos a una mujer haciendo uso de planta para curar a los heridos demostrando que conocían de medicina, creían en el fuego como símbolo de poder y supervivencia. La mujer era la encargada de la procreación; son presentadas para complacer las necesidades sexuales de los hombres de las tribus. También vemos valores como el compromiso, la fidelidad, el trabajo en equipo. La guerra social por el poder hace su aparición cuando luchan por el fuego, que es sinónimo de supervivencia y estabilidad. Es importante recalcar que la película hace una apuesta científicamente arriesgada que en su momento consistió en vincular en el mismo tiempo a dos especies humanas (neandertales y sapiens). Un hecho trascendental, visionario y certero en la investigación genética. ¿Por tanto, podríamos los humanos modernos tener un porcentaje de ADN de ambos?
