Hello everyone, I feel so good to participate in this week's contest, seeing the topics I was so happy because I will be able to share my experience and the kind of student that I was in school.
Wonderful memories have been part and parcel of my life in school. I remembered some good days which have gone by and the bad ones as well.
I considered it to be the best phase of my life. As a student I knew the importance of school life and i consider it a golden period of my life. It is the first impactful phase I experienced in life, and the importance of it can never be disproved.
The confidence and motivation I got, I couldn’t get it anywhere else. Most importantly, it was a place where I recognized my uniqueness and individuality. My school life was no less than a treasure for me which gave me invaluable joys in life.
Although I am an introvert, I love being in a quiet environment, and I always choose to be alone so as to avoid being distracted while reading, and avoid some problems in class, so most times I sit outside.
I was the best student of my class and the school, I was loved by my teachers because i was always obedient, the neatest student, always stand for the truth, and also a fast learner, one that will copy note on the board for others, and will in turn still have a complete notes, and I was everybody's friend, because I always give a helping hand to those who demand for it, i was calm and humble, at the same time i was nobody's friend, because when it comes to the truth, i stand for it, and if you are guilty i will expose it, without being scared of the consequences, i was not loved by my friends in that aspect. but i had this weakness of lateness, which i still fight uptill now🫣
I remember a scenario that occurred then, because of my calmness and gentleness nature most of the other students always want to capitalize on it, so that morning it was raining, i had to go to school very late, so as i was coming, I met another girl at the gate so we entered together, i was called I called by a senior student which i responded to his call, he now asked me to go and sweep their classroom and asked the other girl to go to her class, i was shocked, when he had finished, i quietly left to my class, on seeing that he followed me to the class to punish me, i was very angry, and i had to react, and he was scared because he had never seen me in that mood, so i was reported to the headteacher, which i had to go there and defend myself, because he was been partial, simply because he wanted me to be his girlfriend and i refused, that was what brought about the partiality. The case was settled and since then such never happened again.
Truly it was fun, I can only mention but a few of the events that occurred, I remember another scenario, where a guy came to me and said " i want to take what is mine" i was moved to asked please I'm i holding any of your books? He now said I want to take you, you are mine! I was shocked, I boosted out into laughter,🤣 i asked if I am a commodity, and he was speechless.
It has indeed been an unforgettable journey which will remain in my heart forever. My school life was filled with lots of excitement and love. It made me understand the value of time and became a wonderful chapter in my life.
