Hello everybody... Well, the photos you are seeing someone flying in the sky are none other than me. That's me, flying in the sky of Switzerland and today I am going to share a little bit of my experience because I am gonna be writing a detailed post soon.
I haven't been around for almost a month on the blockchain because I have had a big opportunity to travel around different parts of European countries. Among them, Switzerland was on the list again and this time, I thought I should do Paragliding to ease my fear. I have severe height phobia but I often wanted to fly or jump from the mountain just to feel the sky and heights of the mountains. That was my desire to actually cope with my height fear and I finally did paragliding. My initial plan was to do skydiving but later I thought maybe I should try paragliding first. Switzerland was always my first choice when it came to doing something adventurous.
As you can see, I didn't do paragliding alone and obviously an expert was with me. The flight was around 15-20 minutes, I was in the sky, flying around 15 minutes but the total preparation time was about an hour. I had to pay extra for the photos and videos and it was worth it. The entire experience was adventurous and hard to explain because how it feels to be in the sky flying like a bird cannot be imagined until you experience it in person. I won't say my height phobia is completely gone but it's way more better now. That day the wind was strong but I enjoyed the bumpy ride even though the parachute was shaking a lot. We couldn't go to the middle of the lake or near the Alps mountains because of the wind but what I saw from the sky was enough. It's a completely different world than we normally visualize and see on the ground.
Once in a lifetime, you get such kind of opportunity and experience to be honest and I am so lucky that I got that.
