    Assemble an A team!

But really, when I am saying that I am looking the "expand the team", I mean it in every sense that it can be imagined.

    The Busy Bees level Expansion

I need to expand the Busy Bees.

It was always my intention that I have 100 ACTIVE Busy Bees.

Who are the Busy Bees? We are an activity group that started out including my family, then friends, then other South Africans and soon started including all sorts of other people who are our friends that we are in constant contact with on Hive.

I make a report of their growth and activity on Hive every Sunday. Here is last week's report of the Busy Bees.

Even though we are an ACTIVITY group, there are some sleepers in the group. Some dormant accounts are there meant to be a measuring stick against whom we must measure our performance.

There are 68 people on that list, but last week only 49 of them posted anything last week. That means there were 21 users that are on that list that are dormant.

Together, the 68 Users consists of 2 Orcas, 20 Dolphins, 24 Minnows and 22 Redfish.

    Together we are over 500,000HP!

But the goal was 100 users and the goal was ALL active so now I want to work on that!

    Bloggers on Hive Expansion

Another drive I have always had on Hive, since I came back to the blockchain, has been to onboard more users! Specifically I have been focussing on teaching people to blog.

How to join communities, how to tag, how to put pictures in and cite a source and how to engage and promote yourself. Those are all part of the course that a person needs to learn in order to become a successful blogger on Hive.

I am feeling the need once more to on-board some more people on to the blockchain!

A new newbie class needs to start and adding them to the Busy Bees seems like a pretty good and standard idea to have!

The only thing that I find discouraging and possibly discouraging for others is losing the newbies after a showing them into the Activity Group and then seeing them wink out one by one.

So perhaps I must make a "Hive Class" for newbies and once these people have completed their classes and followed the instructions, then they can become part of the Busy Bees Redfish and start working up the ladder!

    Content Consumers on Hive Expansion

As much as Hive NEEDS content creators, it also NEEDS people who consume that content. A lot of creators actually struggle to keep up and consume as much content as they create and it is a role that needs to be created and embraced on Hive:

Users that either buy or blog just enough to have enough HP that it will allow them to upvote and engage with content that they enjoy and then to grow their Hive stake with curation and rewards from commenting.

If we had 10-100x content consumers for each content creator on Hive, then the popularity of Hive would become immense and there would be a massive amount of adoption from the Web 2 Social Medias to Web 3.

For the last two years, most people that I have been talking to about Hive and Web 3 have thought it strange and quirky... but give it time... I find a LOT more people now interested in starting and joining Hive because of its potential.

But this is my suggestion: Instead of trying to just recruit content creators, try and recruit them to BE content consumers.

Tell them that the best way to get involved is to have an account and to have a nominal amount of HP on the account and then, instead of being pressured to write, just have an account from where you can read, upvote and engage with content on Hive.

This will help the struggling content creators with staying active as people are actually engaging with their content!

    Summary

    So there are the goals:

    1. Expand on the Busy Bees. Up to 100 active accounts.
    2. Expand on Bloggers by starting another blogger teaching class.
    3. Expand on Content Consumers by starting a teaching class with that in mind.

Can we do this? I think we can!

    Thank you for reading!

    Cheers!
