Today, I want to share with you a beautiful my peaceful morning walk to the Capela da Boa Nova. With the sun shining brightly, a mild breeze and a clear blue sky, it was the perfect day.
I set out early in the morning, just as the day was beginning. There's something special about starting a journey at the crack of dawn, isn't there? The world feels quiet and still, as if it's waiting for you to explore it. That day was no different. The streets were calm, with only a few early risers out and about.

Saí de manhã cedo, assim que o dia estava a começar. Há algo de especial em começar uma viagem ao amanhecer, não é? O mundo parece quieto e parado, como se estivesse à espera que o explorasse. Este dia não foi diferente. As ruas estavam calmas, com apenas alguns madrugadores a circular.
It was one of those mornings where the air feels fresh perfect for a leisurely walk. The temperature was mild, neither too cold nor too warm, which made the start of the day all the more enjoyable. As I approached Leça da Palmeira, the landscape began to open up, revealing the stunning coastal views for which the area is known.

Foi uma daquelas manhãs em que o ar parece fresco, perfeito para um passeio tranquilo. A temperatura estava amena, nem muito fria nem muito quente, o que tornou o início do dia ainda mais agradável. À medida que me aproximava de Leça da Palmeira, a paisagem começou a abrir-se, revelando as deslumbrantes vistas costeiras pelas quais a zona é conhecida.
The weather was simply perfect, one of those clear, sunny days that make you want to spend as much time as possible outdoors. The sky was a vivid blue, with no clouds in sight, almost as if someone had painted it with the brightest colours they could find. The sun was shining brilliantly, but not in an overpowering way.

O tempo estava simplesmente perfeito, um daqueles dias luminosos e ensolarados que dão vontade de passar o máximo de tempo possível ao ar livre. O céu era de um azul vivo, sem nuvens à vista, quase como se alguém o tivesse pintado com as cores mais brilhantes que pudesse encontrar. O sol brilhava intensamente, mas não de uma forma avassaladora.
As I neared the Capela da Boa Nova, I caught of it perched on the rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. The chapel is small and unassuming, yet there is something so striking about its simplicity. It seemed to belong to the landscape, as if it had been there for centuries, silently watching over the waves.

Ao aproximar-me da Capela da Boa Nova, avistei-a pousada no afloramento rochoso sobranceiro ao mar. A capela é pequena e modesta, mas há algo de impressionante na sua simplicidade. Parecia pertencer à paisagem, como se ali estivesse há séculos, vigiando silenciosamente as ondas.
The chapel white walls stood in stark contrast to the rugged rocks and the vibrant blues of the sky and sea. I paused for a moment to take in the view. From this vantage point, the ocean stretched out endlessly before me, the horizon meeting the sky in a seamless line. The gentle sound of the waves and the distant cries of seagulls added to the peaceful atmosphere.

As paredes brancas da capela contrastavam fortemente com as rochas escarpadas e os azuis vibrantes do céu e do mar. Parei por momentos para apreciar a vista. Deste ponto de vista, o oceano estendia-se infinitamente diante de mim, o horizonte encontrando o céu numa linha contínua. O som suave das ondas e os gritos distantes das gaivotas contribuíram para a atmosfera pacífica.
The setting of the Capela da Boa Nova is absolutely spectacular. It's one of those places where you feel like you've stepped into a postcard. The combination of natural beauty and architectural simplicity is truly something special.

O cenário da Capela da Boa Nova é absolutamente espetacular. É um daqueles lugares onde se sente que se entrou num postal. A combinação de beleza natural e simplicidade arquitectónica é verdadeiramente especial.
With the chapel closed, I took the opportunity to explore the area around it. There's a small path that leads closer to the rocks and the sea, and from there, the view is even more breathtaking. I sat for a while on one of the large rocks, just watching the waves roll in. The sound of the water crashing against the shore was incredibly soothing, and I could have stayed there for hours, lost in thought.

Com a capela fechada, aproveitei para explorar a zona em seu redor. Há um pequeno caminho que se aproxima das rochas e do mar e, a partir daí, a vista é ainda mais deslumbrante. Sentei-me durante algum tempo numa das grandes rochas, apenas a observar as ondas a rolar. O som da água a bater na costa era incrivelmente reconfortante, e eu poderia ter ficado ali durante horas, perdido em pensamentos.
The wide expanse of the ocean seems to go on forever, and on a clear day like this one, you can see for miles. It's the kind of place that makes you feel small in the best possible way, reminding you of the vastness of the world and your place within it.
