Hola amigos. Deseo que estén muy bien. Yo por aquí muy contenta ya que estoy tejiendo y disfrutando de un fabuloso clima. No soy amante del frío, pero reconozco que es mucho más cómodo vivir en un ambiente fresco que caluroso. Lo malo del tiempo frio es que aquí en Venezuela viene con lluvias, esto ocasiona fallas constantes en el suministro de energía eléctrica y por ende llegan los mosquitos. Con el ventilador encendido podemos espantarlos, pero sin corriente no se puede. Para mi mala suerte hace dos días mi ventilador de hace años se quemó, olvidé apagarlo y cuando llegó la electricidad me lo dañó. Era un FM muy viejo, pero buenísimo.
En fin. Son cosas que pasan. Lo bueno es que las ganas de seguir tejiendo no se las lleva la corriente ni se desvanecen por las lluvias. Por aquí ando 🤪 sigo haciendo figuras para usar como llaveros. Ya que hice un control 🕹️ remoto para vídeo juegos quise también recrear el rostro de dos famosos personajes, muy conocidos por todos. Espero que les guste mi versión.
Hello friends. I wish you all well. I am very happy here because I am knitting and enjoying the fabulous weather. I am not a lover of the cold, but I recognize that it is much more comfortable to live in a cool environment than in a hot one. The bad thing about the cold weather is that here in Venezuela it comes with rain, this causes constant failures in the power supply and therefore the mosquitoes arrive. With the fan on we can scare them away, but without power we cannot. To my bad luck two days ago my old fan burned out, I forgot to turn it off and when the electricity came on it damaged it. It was a very old FM, but a very good one.
Anyway. These are things that happen. The good thing is that the desire to continue knitting is not carried away by the current or faded by the rains. Here I am 🤪 I'm still making figures to use as keychains. Since I made a remote control 🕹️ for video games I also wanted to recreate the faces of two famous characters, well known to all. I hope you like my version.
Mientras tejo oigo y medio veo algunas películas por internet, todavía no he conseguido el kit de televisión 📺 que les había comentado, es una promoción y escasean los artefactos que lo componen. He visto muchísimas película navidad, me encantan.
Cuando tejo me concentro en lo que estoy tejiendo, pero he ido aprendiendo a prestar atención a las películas mientras lo hago. Más que todo tejo y veo películas cuando el proyecto es sencillo como estos dos personajes que tejí con hilos pabilos. Me entusiasmé porque tenía a mano los colores. El resultado final me encantó.
While I knit I hear and half watch some movies on the internet, I still haven't got the TV kit 📺 I had told you about, it's a promotion and the artifacts that compose it are scarce. I have seen a lot of Christmas movies, I love them.
When I knit I concentrate on what I'm knitting, but I've been learning to pay attention to the movies while I'm knitting. Mostly I knit and watch movies when the project is simple like these two characters I knitted with pabilo yarns. I was excited because I had the colors on hand. I loved the end result.
Es increíble, los hilos que tenía ya se están acabando. Todos convertidos en lindos proyectos. Para tejer a Mario y Luigi usé los colores verdes, marrón, beige, blanco y rojo. Tejí con un ganchillo de 2,25mm. Usé mi nueva tijera. Aguja lanera. Pegamento. Ojos moviles colores rojo y verde.
It's amazing, the yarns I had are already running out. All of them turned into beautiful projects. To knit Mario and Luigi I used green, brown, beige, white and red. I knitted with a 2.25mm crochet hook. I used my new scissors. Wool needle. Glue. Red and green movable eyes.
Este proyecto se teje rápido y las puntadas son muy sencillas. Lo primero que hice fue tejer cuatro círculos de hasta 3pb-1aum en hilo de color beige. Después tejí con hilo rojo e hilo verde solo en dos de estos círculos. Realicé lo que serían las gorras de las figuras, cada una donde corresponde. Solo tejí puntos bajos, puntos medios altos, puntos altos y un punto alto doble. Adicional tejí en color verde y rojo las solapas de las gorras. Tejí seis puntos cadenas y sobre ellos otra vuelta de puntos bajos. Dejé hebra para coser.
This project knits up quickly and the stitches are very simple. The first thing I did was to knit four circles up to 3pb-1aum in beige yarn. Then I knitted with red yarn and green yarn only on two of these circles. I made what would be the caps of the figures, each one where it corresponds. I only knit low stitches, medium high stitches, high stitches and a double high stitch. In addition I knitted in green and red the flaps of the caps. I knit six chain stitches and over them another round of single crochet. I left some yarn for sewing.
Con el hilo blanco tejí 8 puntos bajos en un anillo mágico. Lo cosí sobre la gorra. Con hilo rojo y el hilo verde que dejé en reserva bordé la letra inicial del nombre de cada uno. También pegué los ojos locos.
Con el hilo marrón tejí un bigote para cada uno y luego de coserlo en la cara bordé con la hebra sobrante todo el cabello cerca de la oreja.
Finalmente tomé los dos círculos en beige para coser uno detrás de cada figura, de este modo se ocultan todos los hilos sobrantes de las costuras y queda más firme el tejido.
With the white yarn I knit 8 single crochet stitches in a magic ring. I sewed it on the cap. With red thread and the green thread I left in reserve I embroidered the initial letter of everyone's name. I also glued the crazy eyes.
With the brown thread I knitted a moustache for each one and after sewing it on the face I embroidered with the leftover thread all the hair near the ear.
Finally I took the two beige circles to sew one behind each figure, this way all the leftover threads of the seams are hidden and the weaving is firmer.
