While the Bitcoin and crypto markets are taking a dive today, I decided to take the time to get out in the beautiful sunshine and get a project done on the homestead.

My folks are back in town and brough back all the good tools, so I am getting some backlogged projects done.

What I did was take some old pallets that my uncle used to stack hay bails on and used them to create a compost box to create some good soil for gardening. I needed something hearty to keep my dog out of it. He likes eating the old rotting compost for some reason... I love dogs but they can be pretty gross at times, lol. This box will do the trick.

I used some old white retail shelving frames for bracing and support. I also 3D printed some big gate hibges which actually work, the pallet is just a little too heavy and a couple of them cracked but still work. I also printed corner braces to help keep these old pallets all tied together.

Another project on the homestead complete! Now to start hauling the dirt over to the new spot!

    Until next time...

Be cool, be real, and always abide my dudes!
