In this post i would like to continue with the roadtrip that i did in Kalavryta, in Greece.

Part 3

Behind that cute kid there was a museum. We didn't visit it though, because we were on low budget.

In the yard there was a monument and it was accessible to anyone.

It's not just a monument, it has also a story to tell of statues.

The big sign says:

The story
A woman from Kalavryta carries the dead body of her husband -executed on 13/13/1943 by the Germans - from the place of execution to the cemetery of the town dragging him on his bloodstained coat, right before the grieving eyes of her childen.

And the smaller sign says:

There is no Victory in War.
