I took this photo yesterday whilst waiting for my wife to come out of surgery. It’s strange how my photographic eye never quite takes a break.
Tina is going through something every woman faces in their lives, the menopause and the doctors wanted to conduct a hysteroscopy which basically means inspecting her womb. So she went under general anaesthetic, they needed to take a biopsy.
She is ok but they may end up suggesting a hysterectomy, which means she will need to take time out and recover for a few weeks if it comes to that.
The Berkshire independent hospital was very impressive and the ward had its own private bathroom and shower.
We’re back home now and I’m making sure she doesn’t overdo stuff!
