The hopefully last frosty morning of the season arrived quietly. Ostara, the Vernal Equinox greeted me with a clear sky without a cloud in sight. I stepped out early, savoring the first orange glow of the sun from the Schlossbridge. It was worth leaving before the world woke up. Today, I craved a short route through the Schleusenland, a peaceful walk that brought me to the large sluice weir again. There, I took a moment to breathe deeply, letting go of the yesterday's clutter with gentle meditation. Two gargoyles, perched in a nearby allotment garden in a nice framed arrangement, seemed to join me in waiting for spring. Their stony faces, weathered but ever watchful, reminded me that even the coldest mornings are fleeting. I could almost hear them whispering, urging the warmth to return, as I shared that moment with them and took a photo of those cuties to share it with you here.
Der hoffenltich letzte frostige Morgen der Saison kam ruhig an. Ostara, die Frühlingstagundnachtgleiche begrüsste mich mit einem klaren Himmel ohne eine Wolke. Ich ging früh los und genoss das erste orangefarbene Licht der Sonne von der Schlossbrücke. Es war es wert, bevor die Welt erwachte. Heute hatte ich Lust auf eine kurze Route durch das Schleusenland, einen friedlichen Spaziergang, der mich wieder zum großen Schleusenwehr führte. Dort nahm ich mir einen Moment, um tief durchzuatmen und mit sanften Meditationen den gestrigen Tag loszulassen. Zwei Gargoyles, die in einem nahegelegenen Schrebergarten in einem hübsch arrangierten Rahmen saßen, schienen mich beim Warten auf den Frühling zu begleiten. Ihre steinernen Gesichter, abgenutzt, aber immer wachsam, erinnerten mich daran, dass selbst die kältesten Morgen vergänglich sind. Ich habe ein photo von den beiden gemacht um den Moment mit euch hier zu teilen.
