Today was one of those days where my schedule was packed tighter than a carry-on during holiday season. First up: meetings. Endless meetings. Then, a delightful dive into quarterly accounting, which is my personal version of a Sudoku puzzle with a lot more stress and zero fun. Parenting came next—making sure little humans were fed, educated, and not left wondering where their chauffeur had disappeared. And let’s not forget the dad-taxi routine, which might just be the hardest endurance sport known to man.
But amidst all this chaos, I managed to sneak in two 5km walks. And let me tell you, those 10 kilometers of step-taking were not just exercise, they were my sanity savers. Walking alongside this serene canal, with trees gently leaning in to touch the sky and clouds reflecting off the water like some Monet painting, it reminded me that there’s peace in the pauses we create.
14,000 steps later, I’m tired, but it’s the kind of tired that comes with a smirk of satisfaction. A reminder that staying active isn’t about having the perfect day—it’s about finding small pockets of time when everything else says “no.” Fitness isn’t always lifting weights or hitting the gym; sometimes, it’s just lacing up your shoes and choosing the scenic route, even if life is throwing everything it can at you.
If I can fit that in, so can you. No excuses, just one step at a time. 🏞️🚶♂️ #OwnYourDay #StepByStep
