    Intro

Hey👋. We're continuing with our small reviews of mobile games.

I haven't had much time for editing the PC games I've tried. So, in my free time, I've been enjoying these mini-games on my phone.

I've never delved into why video games are such a good option for leisure time.

They are undoubtedly more than just simple games. I could describe them in various ways. Maybe they are the most immersive way we have to interact with art, stories, entertainment, etc.

And I still need to try many retro console titles. So, there will probably be a lot of gameplay about that on this blog. Just to share a bit.

    Crazy Cars

A while ago, my brother @manublog lent me his phone to see how long I could survive in a small mini-game. This game is really addictive; it's a simple but frantic survival game where you are the driver of a vehicle being chased by a bunch of cops.

You have two controls: "right" and "left." The car never stops; it's always accelerating, and the goal is to dodge all obstacles without crashing into anything. You lose the moment you hit any decoration on the map or when a police car collides with you.

    Random Powers

Occasionally, gift boxes appear in the game. Some float towards you and contain special powers that you can activate by pressing the screen. These powers are random and can help you last longer in the chase. Some clear the map of obstacles, while others give you weapons to destroy everything in your path or the vehicles chasing you.

    Levels or Maps

There are several maps, each with its own theme and surprises. Recently, I asked my brother for the name of this game to have it on my phone. So, I've just started playing it, and there are still things I don't understand.

For example, there's a map I just unlocked where lightning literally strikes you. It's hard because, besides the obstacles and vehicles chasing you, you have to dodge a storm of lightning. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if the level is just like that, but damn, it feels like the further I go, the more lightning strikes.

There's another level that's pretty cool; it's like a base level. I'd call it level 00.

You're on a map without obstacles, and it's by stages. The police cars don't chase you as they normally do; instead, they follow very strange driving patterns. Sometimes, they even jump. Once you pass the first stage, they change your vehicle to one you haven't unlocked yet, and the police vehicle patterns also change, providing the next level.

I also recently discovered that in certain levels, there are zones on the map that interact when you pass over them.

    Unlockable Content

Sometimes there are giant gifts on maps that give you some sort of trophies. I still haven't figured out what it is, but it seems like some unlockable or collectible content. What I do know you can unlock are the cars in the game. Normally, when you manage to beat a certain survival record with one of the available cars, you get a new one.

I'm not going to lie, even if the trophies are just collectibles, it's pretty addictive to get them. To find these trophies, you just need to follow a blue arrow that appears on the screen. This arrow will lead you to a giant gift with this collectible trophy. I've lost many games just trying to reach one of those giant gifts.

    Conclusion

It's the kind of game where you say, "Alright, this is the last one," and then you play 10 more rounds. It has a visually appealing design and a very catchy and energetic soundtrack that fits well with the game's theme.

I have to say, the creators aim to generate income with this video game. It's obvious, so it's not completely free as it has ads that appear from time to time when you lose. This can be annoying for some. You can pay a few dollars to remove the ads. We've seen this option in other mobile apps.

The appearance of ads isn't too repetitive, and well, a trick is that you can always avoid this if you're not connected to any Wi-Fi network. You could play peacefully without these ads appearing. Or, if you want to support the creators, you can always buy the ad-free option. I think it gets linked to your email.

It's an entertaining game to share with the community.
