I fought an interesting battle in Modern Champion ranked. Yesterday, I showed a game where I defeated Eternal Tofu. Today I decided to go easier on myself and show a game where I won with Eternal Tofu. Also, I used Conqueror Jacek in yesterday's game and I'm facing Conqueror Jacek in today's. I think it's good to compare why it worked for Tofu in one and not the other. As good as the card is, it's important not to spam it blindly.

This game had the following rule sets: Up Close & Personal, Maneuvers, and Stampede. The mana cap was 55, and the active splinters were Fire, Death, and Earth. I went with Eternal Tofu since these were the perfect rule sets for it. Only melee units are allowed and the other ones are good with melee units. I put Arkemis the Bear in front, with Mantaroth in the Reach slot. That's like playing Possibilus the Wise's favorite duo but with Tofu's abilities. I followed them up with Thanalorian Blade, Halaran Huntress, and Venka the Vile. I finished the team with Disintegrator. They opted for Conqueror Jacek and started with Drybone Megalodon, followed by Ferexian Hero. Torch Vizier, Ferox Defender, and Drybone Raider were next. They finished the team with Dumacke Orc. I gave Triage and Scavenger to Venka.

I took out Drybone Megalodon after a few attacks, including Venka hitting for 7. However, my Thanalorian Blade was perfectly countered by Dumacke Orc and died to the combination of Thorns and Retaliate after attacking it twice.

My Bear died to Ferexian Hero. Venka avenged the Bear and even left their next unit at 2 HP, which Huntress finished.

Venka almost killed the Ferox Defender and Huntress finished it. Mantaroth put their Drybone Raider to 1 HP.

Venka killed the Raider and left the Orc with just 1 armor. Huntress dealt the final blow

Other than Dumacke Orc countering Thanalorian Blade, the rest of their team was no match for mine. Even with several units with Defect (the new name for Reflection Shield), my units were much stronger. Mantaroth did less than I expected but it was still good and Venka was amazing. Huntress got many kills too!
