TOPIC REVIEW: HEARING BUT NOT LISTENING TO GOD'S WORD (PART 1 )

Our world today a lot of people are hearing to the word of God while only few are really listens to the word of God People who just hear the word of God are people who do not allow the word to go into their heart and bear roots therefore the word that they heard does not have any positive effects on them and after hearing the words they still return back to their old ways and one of the reasons why this is so is seen in the book of Psalms 115:6-8 men who worship idols are like the idols that the worship the have eyes but cannot see ears but cannot hear mouth yet cannot speak legs and hands the have yet the can not make use of them and everyone who worship this idols becomes exactly like what the worship

Brother Eli Soriano in this teaching made us to understand from the book of Acts 17:29 the bible God being the Godhead van not be represented in form of gold silver or stone he cannot be graven by art of man He is far beyond that yet alot of people still wants to confine God into that form trying to subject God into things made by man
How Can A Creature Create His Creator That is an abomination in the sight of God

In our generation today there are lots of idol worshipers whom the gods of the land have blinded their eyes from seeing the light from the word of God in 2 Corinthians 4:4 the gods of the land has blinded the eye of their mind from receiving the word the will liberate them from darkness and because they are like what the worship their ears are also blocked from listening and the jeep struggling with the challenges of life because the word has not gone in to bear root that will change their life for God

Idol worshipping is an abomination in the sight of God we should not let anything take the place of God in our lives let's not give any chance to the devil to gain access into our life let us be guided by opening our ear and heart to hear and receive the word of God
