Autumn is most photogenic period of the year also in Tatra mountains situated on polish - slovakian borderlands. Strbske Pleso (and also Strbske pleso) is travel destination and lake in westernmost part of High Tatras mountains. Most photogenic place of this area is certainly Strbske pleso lake with beautiful views to High Tatras mountains peaks. And best period to visitt this lake and enjoy this views is sunrise and early morning, when the peaks light by early morning sun mirroring on waterground and also you can enjoy calm atmosphere with no huge mass of people.
Second most photogenic place on Strbske Pleso is a ski jumping hill situated few minutes of easy walsing above lake in the lowest part of Mlynicka dolina valley on slopes of Solisko mountain ridge. You can view them also from the lake banks with Predne Solisko mountain peak above - it is a most pictured scenery from the lake and really most beautiful.
Strbske Pleso is easy accesible fot everyone - you can go by car (be aware of expensive parking) or better and more cheapier by train - one possibility is from Strba railway station (rack railway) or from Poprad railway station via Stary Smokovec railway. And when you love hiking (or climbing), after morning on Strbske Pleso you can continueing on hiking to few peaks, mountain valleys and mountain passes (f.e. slovakian national hills Krivan, beautiful circuit leads from Mlynicka dolina valley via Bystra lavka mountain pass to Furkotska dolina valley and back to Strbske Pleso, Rysy - highest peaks of Poland).
