I was in Calabria for Christmas holidays when Mary’s father told me that in Italy they were going to issue an economic incentive for farmers that would have stopped cultivating crops.
Government was going to give 1500€/hectare per year. 1500€ is a slightly lower than average salary in Italy but with not much expenses or aspirations is enough for a small family to live. And if the wife/husband is still getting some money out of a work, they would definitely have more than enough to live very well.
I think that it’s a scandal and that’s why I am writing an article to point this thing to the attention of all the benevolent readers.
A few days ago, while I was curating for Ecency, I read from @bntcamelo that in Australia, cultivating a private land to grow crops is illegal.
Do you see the direction?
Instead of natural crops and meats, they are going to force people eating synthetic meat and insects.
Where are we going?
Anyway, my point is not simply yelling to the “corrupted people” that are ruling these dynamics BUT instead, doing something to support deserving farmers.
It’s like people manifesting against war. It’s a nonsense.
Start manifesting towards peace.
It’s also an energetic matter: if I tell you

I am sure you have already seen in your brain a fancy pink elephant.
When I do not want something, I am giving energy to that “something”. And that’s the reason why, I try always to reason and mentalize in a positive manner, figuring out what I WANT and not what I do not want.
So, I decided to expand my Shared Purchase group!
I am purchasing local food since years, directly from the producers. In this way I am giving my “2 cents” to support local producers on a direct negotiation and not through different re-seller like gross shops and markets.
I have found direct sellers for oranges and lemons, almonds, avocado and pasta. So far, we have been 3-7 people involved in such purchasing group but I decided to enlarge it. Not necessarily to get some money on top on the products I am going to resell BUT instead to educate people and making them enjoying again the freshness of real fruit of high quality.
Tuesday evening I shared the idea with the 2nd year of the Yoga class and they have been enthusiastic about, so 4 more people already added up. And there are more people to involve.
The plan is to involve 20 people.
If 1000 Italians are going to do the same, 20.000 people are going to move their money directly into the pocket of local producers, supporting them.
I like thinking about the Reverse Domino Effect. I could not find an image explaining it but think from the image below, what would happen if you remove one single domino card. A following pyramid would stand. And I feel that if many of us start rebelling pacifically to the current sick alimentary trend, each of us can create a small pyramid of standing domino cards. And the more we are, the more standing pyramids we are going to create and the more force we can put into place.
That’s why I invite all of you that can get an access to local producers, to start buying local foods, bypassing intermediaries (commercial centres and big markets) to support directly local producers.
And I tag some Italians to see what they think about it and try to create a wave. A wave that is small in the very beginning but with simple actions can rise and make the system tremble!
Gandhi is one of the best examples here: non-violence that made soldiers running away ashamed.

Cosa ne pensate?
Instead of fighting someone that has legislative power, let’s start supporting the really deserving people and our own health!
Even if you think that we may be very few, think that the principle of Resonance works immediately when just 4% of the people of a group thinks differently from the mass. If just 4% of the people start doing in this way, think how many more producers may be able to sell their products, making their own products easier to get, even for lazier people!
It’s a matter of believing before seeing. And here, I am also reversing the Saint Thomas effect :D
