Greetings friends. The other day I remembered that I had made some dinosaur figurines inspired by splinterlands before. Although I don't have them on hand, I thought I might try to make another one inspired by another character from this cool blockchain game, specifically I was inspired by this character:

Saludos amigos. El otro día recordé que había hecho antes unas figuritas de dinosaurios inspirados en splinterlands. Aunque no las tengo a la mano, pensé que podría intentar hacer otra inspirada en otro personaje de este genial juego de la blockchain, específicamente me inspiré en este personaje:

Its appearance is threatening and although it is not a dinosaur itself, it does resemble one and I wanted to take inspiration from it to make this piece that you see below.
Su apariencia resulta amenazante y aunque no es un dinosaurio propiamente dicho, sí se asemeja a uno y quise inspírate en este para hacer está pieza que ven a continuación.
Step by step
To make it I used the elements that I usually use in my sculptures, that is, plasticine, cardboard, wooden sticks.
Paso a paso
Para hacerla usé los elementos que acostumbro a usar en mis esculturas, es decir, plastilina, cartón, palillos de madera.
It is not a complete figure. As you can see in the cover image and in the one I showed above, the figurine is just a bust.
For that reason, the use of a base to place the bust is necessary, for this one I used only cardboard and covered it with plasticine. Then with a part of my cutter I gave it that texture that you can see in the base.
No es una figura completa. Tal como se puede apreciar en la imagen de portada y en la que mostré un poco mas arriba, la figurita es solo un busto.
Por ese motivo, el uso de una base para colocar el busto es necesaria, para esta usé solamente cartón y lo cubrí con plastilina. Luego con una parte de mi cutter le di esa textura que se puede ver en la base.
Once this was done, I began to mold the lower part of the figure, which in this case would be the neck. I made the folds of the neck that go from the base to the top.
In the middle of the neck, as if it were a spine, I placed a wooden stick, which would serve as a support. Then I molded the upper part of the head.
Una vez hecho esto, comencé a moldear la parte inferior de la figura, que en este caso sería el cuello. Le hice los pliegues del cuello que van desde la base hasta la parte superior.
En medio del cuello, como si fuese una columna vertebral, le coloqué un palillo de madera, que serviría como soporte. Posteriormente moldeé la parte superior de la cabeza.

On the inner side of the head I used pink plasticine for the palate. Then I took a wooden stick that would serve as a base for the jaw of the creature.
I made the jaw in brown, and then I covered it with white plasticine to give it the final finish, which would be to stretch the white plasticine on top of the green one, make some white spots on it and make it look like I was only using this type of white plasticine.
En el lado interior de la cabeza usé plastilina rosada para el paladar. Luego tomé un palillo de madera que serviría de base para la mandíbula de la criatura.
La mandíbula la hice de color marrón, ya luego la cubrí con plastilina blanca para darle el acabado final, que sería estirar la plastilina blanca encima de la verde, hacerle algunas manchas blancas y que, en definitiva, pareciera que solo estaba usando este tipo de plastilina blanca.

Here you can see what I mentioned. Once this was done, I continued with the head, making the eyes and what would be the eyebrows, although I don't know if they are really called eyebrows in dinosaurs, but just so you understand it is the part that is above the eyes.
Aquí pueden ver cómo quedó lo que les mencioné. Una vez hecho esto continúe con la cabeza, haciendo los ojos y lo que serían las cejas, aunque no sé si realmente se llaman cejas en los dinosaurios, pero para que me entiendan es la parte que está encima de los ojos.
After making these parts, I started with what is always the most tedious part of this kind of figures, the teeth.
You might think that I made the teeth from the material that is already there, but no, I made little holes along the whole mouth and in each hole I glued the teeth, both the top and the bottom ones. I also placed a kind of horns on the sides of the head.
After I made the teeth and the glue dried, I made the tongue and placed it along the entire length of the lower part of the mouth.
Después de hacer estás partes, comencé con lo que siempre es la parte más tediosa de este tipo de figuras, los dientes.
Quizás pensarán que hice los dientes a partir del material que ya está, pero no, hice agujeritos a lo largo de toda la boca y en cada agujerito pegué los dientes, tanto los de arriba como los de abajo. También le coloqué una suerte de cuernos que están a los lados de la cabeza.
Después de hacer los dientes y que el pegamento se secó,le hice la lengua y la coloque por todo lo largo de la parte inferior de la boca.
