I always think she is one of the best singers of our time, I think this is a great time to be alive and to be able to enjoy her songs. She has already released many songs and I think that up to now I have listened to all of them, and I have the same opinion as when I started listening to her.

My opinion is that she doesn't have any filler songs. I don't know if it has happened to you that you follow other singers who have good songs, but when you listen to their entire catalog many of their songs sound like they are there as filler between the good ones on each album. Well in the case of Adele I have never felt that, each one is very good and original. I think that in part that is due to her great talent. In the case of today's song Someone Like You continues in the same line, it is very good. Have you heard it before? Maybe yes, or maybe not. Here anything goes.😅 In my case, as strange as it may seem, I did not come to listen to this song until long after it was released. Imagine that this song was released in 2011 and I came across it like 2019. In all that time I knew nothing about Adele.

That said, this was not the first song I heard from her, that title is from Set Fire To The Rain. In fact, that was the first post I brought you about her. It's my favorite song from her entire catalog and the one I consider the best of all, without taking away credit from the others of course. Going back to Someone Like You itself, it has an interesting meaning like all her songs. It's about her and a possible experience, perhaps personal, nobody knows, in it she tells us about losing someone in a relationship and trying to move forward despite that and without that person. Although I honestly see it as if she somehow wanted to make us a kind of "portrait" so we could say how we should deal with our expectations and obviously the realities that we can't change. Because sometimes even if we do everything right, the other person isn't up to par with us. That's the meaning in itself.

That's true, it's true that we have to be realistic, the song is very positive and everything but in practice the message is interpreted differently, I don't know if you understand me. I tell you this because not everyone, when they hear it and get to the part that says, “I wish nothing but the best for you,” does so with a genuine smile, you could say. Anyone who has gone through this experience surely knows that this part is complicated. So it depends on how you see it and accept it. Maybe the message of the song doesn't resonate with you, but you can still learn a nice lesson from it.

And I think that's the best thing about the song, of course without detracting from the video or the music, which are spectacular, I think the teaching of the lyrics takes the credit. I tell you this because in a certain way I think there's something important in the idea of ​​learning to let go or to let go, you could say. Because if there's nothing left to do and the other person wasn't up to par, why look for them again? As I said, it depends a lot on your opinion. Because some of you may wish the best for the other person despite what they did to you, like Adele does in the song, or you may simply not look at each other's faces ever again, wishing the worst.
