(El Paraiso y la piedra del zapato)

El 1/12/24 , nos fuimos de vacaciones junto a mi marido a Córdoba, Argentina a unos 800km de Buenos Aires. Estas vacaciones se venían planificando hace un año atrás por dos motivos principales: Festejar el cumpleaños de mi cuñada que reside allí y ascender el cerro mas alto de las sierras chicas.
Esos items, los cumplimos pero antes, hicimos un par de salidas tranquilas a lugares donde reinaba los hermosos paisajes y el silencio total. El día de hoy, les mostrare algunas fotos de dos parajes de Capilla Del Monte llamados : El Paraíso y El zapato. Ya verán porque tienen esos nombres.
On 1/12/24, we went on vacation with my husband to Córdoba, Argentina, about 800km from Buenos Aires. These vacations had been planned a year ago for two main reasons: Celebrating my sister-in-law's birthday who lives there and climbing the tallest hill in the small mountain range.
We accomplished those items, but before that, we made a couple of peaceful outings to places where beautiful landscapes and total silence prevailed. Today, I will show you some photos of two spots in Capilla Del Monte called: El Paraíso and El zapato. You will see why they have those names.

Fue un viaje largo, mas de 14 hs sentados en el bus así que los primeros días fueron de actividades tranquilas. El Zapato y el Paraíso, se encuentran ubicados a 2km del centro de Capilla Del Monte y ambos lugares, están muy cercanos uno del otro. En una bifurcación tu puedes tomar el camino a uno u otro y dijimos ¿Por que no ambos este día? ¡Así lo hicimos!
It was a long journey, over 14 hours sitting on the bus, so the first few days were of quiet activities. El Zapato and El Paraíso are located 2km from the center of Capilla Del Monte, and both places are very close to each other. At a fork, you can take the road to one or the other and we said, "Why not both today?" So we did!

El camino era todo así. Puro monte con pocas casitas alrededor. Paisaje semidesértico , con un calor terrible y todo en subida por lo que la dificultad aumentaba a pesar de ser una corta distancia hasta llegar a destino así que si querías ir al baño, un buen arbusto sera tu mejor amigo.
The road was just like that. Pure mountain with few small houses around. Semi-desert landscape, with terrible heat and all uphill, so the difficulty increased despite the short distance to reach the destination, so if you wanted to go to the bathroom, a good bush would be your best friend.

Primero fuimos Al Paraíso y , además del paisaje, nos recibió este gatito adorable que nos perseguía a todos lados como invitándonos a conocer.
First we went to Paradise and, in addition to the landscape, we were greeted by this adorable kitten that followed us everywhere, as if inviting us to explore.

Como verán, el paisaje dentro del predio asemeja a un paraíso terrenal. Su silencio, sus espacios verdes, sus conjunciones entre rocas y ríos que parecen espejos al cielo, todo hacia una perfecta combinación para lograr una especie de jardín Edén.
Aquí, muchas personas hacen retiros espirituales por varios factores: Es un lugar tranquilo, esta prohibida la música, aislado de la urbanización y sobre todo, no existe la señal de internet y tu teléfono se muere aquí. Sin mencionar claro, la carga energética y espiritual que el lugar presenta.
As you can see, the landscape inside the property resembles a heavenly paradise. Its silence, its green spaces, its conjunctions between rocks and rivers that seem like mirrors to the sky, all create a perfect combination to achieve a kind of Garden of Eden.
Here, many people go on spiritual retreats for several reasons: It is a quiet place, music is prohibited, isolated from urbanization, and above all, there is no internet signal and your phone dies here. Not to mention, of course, the energetic and spiritual charge that the place presents.

Hay una cafetería y buffet para comer pero nosotros preferimos ir a un lugarcito rio arriba, tirar una manta, comer algo que llevamos, tomar unos mates y una buena siesta porque hay tanto silencio que te entregas a los brazos de Morfeo en un segundo. Eso si ¡No olvides protector solar y repelente de insectos!
La entrada no se cobra, es a voluntad, es decir, puedes pagar lo que tu quieras por ella para acceder al predio y así, aportar para el mantenimiento del sitio.
There is a café and buffet for eating, but we prefer to go to a little spot upstream, lay down a blanket, eat something we brought, have some mate, and take a good nap because there is so much silence that you surrender to the arms of Morpheus in a second. Just make sure you don't forget sunscreen and insect repellent!
The entrance is free, it's voluntary, meaning you can pay whatever you want for it to access the grounds and thus contribute to the maintenance of the site.

Luego de estar un rato en el Paraíso, bajamos y fuimos con destino a El Zapato cuyo atractivo principal, es la piedra que ves en la foto con la geoforma de un zapato justamente , de ahí su nombre. Si, es una formación natural por si te lo estas preguntando.
After spending some time in Paradise, we went down and headed to El Zapato whose main attraction is the stone you see in the photo with the shape of a shoe, hence its name. Yes, it is a natural formation in case you are wondering.

Al ingresar, te cobran entrada fija a la fecha que fuimos de 0.5 dólares (Un regalo) y lo primero que ves , es un sitio con el nombre de la cueva de los enamorados donde nos sentamos con @chino91 a darnos un besito ja,ja,ja. Luego, el sendero de la luna que era muy corto y una roca que simulaba un Ojo que todo lo ve. En esta parte me acorde de mi amiga @avdesing que ella es un ojo que ve todo ja,ja,ja.
Upon entering, they charge you a fixed entrance fee on the date we went of 0.5 dollars (A gift) and the first thing you see is a place with the name of the "Cave of Lovers" where we sat down with @chino91 to give each other a little kiss. Then, the "Moon Path" which was very short and a rock that simulated an Eye that sees everything. At this point, I remembered my friend @avdesing, who is an eye that sees everything, ha, ha, ha.

Para acceder a esta formación natural en forma de zapato, se sube por unas escaleras un poco empinadas (No tanto) y que no son muy largas. Si van a subir, por favor, NO PINTEN LAS PIEDRAS aunque muchos ya lo hicieron, recuerden que hay que preservar estos espacios históricos y naturales.
To access this natural shoe-shaped formation, climb some slightly steep stairs (Not so much) that are not very long. If you are going to climb, please DO NOT PAINT THE STONES even though many already have, remember to preserve these historical and natural spaces.

Hasta aquí la aventura de hoy. Había otro camino para visitar el dique pero, a pesar de que las distancias eran cortas, nos agotamos por todo el camino en subida y el cansancio acumulado del viaje. De igual forma, la pasamos super y próximamente les mostrare mas sobre los lugares que visitamos en Capilla Del Monte que es uno mas hermoso que el otro ¡Saludos!
The adventure of today ends here. There was another path to visit the dam but, despite the short distances, we got tired from the uphill road and the accumulated fatigue from the trip.
