The Parkside Gayo Hotel in Takengon City, the capital of Central Aceh Regency, Indonesia, is one of my and many people's favorite hotels. The view from the hotel provides two unique choices: whether to enjoy the exoticism of Lake Lut Tawar or enjoy the elegance of the verdant mountains.
I chose both. I have stayed at the Parkside Hotel countless times and never get bored with these two views.
On a cool afternoon (the air in Takengon City is around 18 degrees Celsius and that is cooler than Lhokseumawe City which reaches 32 degrees), several journalists and I enjoyed the view from the top of the Parkside hotel in Takengon City, which is also known as Negeri Antara.
