Diy on how I made senator style for my dad to wear on my traditional wedding day.

    Hello creative community ,

    Today I'm happy to be among you all to share my handwork, diy community is where people come from different places to showcase their God gift talent and also where we can learn from other through there post.

    I'm not really good in sewing male cloth but I always try on my own, I made this senator style for my dad who is far away from home I don't have his measurement but I use one of my neighbors that has same height with then I add some inches to the measurement then I cut and sew this styles for my dad to wear on my traditional wedding day .

    Cutting and sewing step firstly fold the front piece I measure the shoulder to be 9" then the chest is 20" after that I folded my shoulder slant then cut out the neck 3" by 4".

    After cutting the shirt the I cut out the trouser

    Cutting the trouser was easier for me than the shirt because it doesn't involve much calculation .

    After cutting the bodices I took it to my sewing machine I join and iron every stage so that it will look neat and I fixed the side pocket of the trouser .

    I hope I try my best, though the sleeve is a bit short when he wore it 🤣🤣 , the male fashion designer in house pls comment on my work and tell me my mistakes.
