Hey Actifitters,
Since I knew yesterday would be the worst day of this heat wave, I didn't bother setting any alarm clock, and of course only got up late in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon was filled with several short breaks in the yard. This time Le Chat graced us with her presence. Or maybe she just wanted to eat some grass.
Kaia was more interested in all the deer behind the fence. Clearly they were taunting her.
With the heat, I didn't really feel like going on a walk, but we tried anyways.
As soon as we arrived in the forest and I took her leash off, Kaia lied down. Really not a good sign.
Since I was also under attack from what seems like thousands of mosquitoes, I decided we wouldn't even go any further in the forest, but would follow its edge for a bit. Kaia regained some energy when we met these two deer, but that didn't last long.
I was surprised to see some damages from the various storms we experienced recently. I thought the worst of these storms missed us, but apparently it hit closer than I thought.
Closer to home, everything seem fine though.
Back at home, Le Chat was waiting for us. Unlike the day before, she decided to stay outside the entire day, even later at night when yet another storm started.
And that was it for the day's activities. A slow day as expected because of the heat. My first miss in #poprzeczka competition. But spoiler alert: at the time of writing, I am already over the bar for the 23rd.
