Hey guys! Helllooo, madlang ka-hive! It’s me again, your Angel ! I hope you’re all doing great . Today, I want to share a little something about my weekend—specifically, my Saturday date with my uncle, younger sister, and younger brother . It was quite an eventful day, and I can't wait to tell you all about it !
So, are you all excited? Let’s begin!
A Bumpy Start—Literally!
The day started pretty pretttyyy normal, or so I thought. Around 10 AM, I was outside, practicing how to ride my big bike . Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not like those huge motorcycles , it’s just an electric bike . But guess what ? I managed to bump into my uncle’s car that was parked right beside his house! Ouch! My poor toes took the hit, and honestly, it hurt . But hey, no big deal! A little pain never stopped me from having a great day, right?
Anjo World Plans: Cancelled!
After my little accident, we all decided to go to Anjo World, one of the most exciting amusement parks around here. The plan was to enjoy some rides and have fun. But the moment we got there, reality hit us hard—the prices had increased!
The entrance fee was now ₱450 per head, and that only covered three rides! Since we were four people, but my uncle wasn’t planning to ride, that meant only three of us would be on the rides. It didn’t seem as fun anymore if my uncle was just going to watch. So after a few minutes of thinking, I decided to cancel the plan. No regrets—just smart budgeting!
Change of Plans: Grocery Shopping at Robinsons Market
Instead of spending money on expensive rides, we headed to Robinsons Market, which wasn’t far from Anjo World. We needed groceries for the upcoming school week, so it was a practical move .
While picking up essentials like rice, canned goods, and snacks, something caught my eye . A refrigerated sushi display ! And guys, when I say fresh, I mean FRESH! My inner foodie instantly woke up, and I just had to get one. Sushi craving satisfied!
A New Bike to Learn Balance!
After finishing up at Robinsons, my uncle suggested we go to Foxter to buy a bicycle . Now, let me confess something, we don’t know how to ride a bike . That’s actually one of the reasons I struggled with balancing the big bike earlier that morning !
So, in a mission to fix our balancing skills, we bought a bicycle for practice . It wasn’t too expensive it's only ₱7,000, and it was worth it ! Hopefully, after some practice, we’ll finally master biking and move on to handling the big bike like pros .
Unplanned Food Stop: Mang Inasal at Gaisano Mingla!
By the time we were done with shopping and biking plans, hunger struck! Since we were already near Gaisano Mingla Cebu, we decided to make a stop there and dine at Mang Inasal. And of course, what’s a Mang Inasal meal without UNLI RICE? Hahaha!
We all ate like crazy because, honestly, nothing beats grilled chicken with unlimited rice after a long day of walking and shopping. It was the perfect ending to our unexpected adventure.
Home Sweet Home
After our satisfying meal, it was finally time to head home . By then, it was already 7 PM, and the sky was dark . We were all tired but happy, and despite the unexpected turns throughout the day, it was still a super fun and productive Saturday.
Final Thoughts
Looking back, I realized that sometimes, the best days aren’t the ones you plan—it’s the ones that happen unexpectedly! From bumping into my uncle’s car to cancelling Anjo World plans, to random sushi cravings, and finally, a satisfying Mang Inasal meal—this day was nothing short of amazing.
So yeah, that’s my weekend story! I hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed living it. Until next time, this is Angel, signing off!
Stay safe and enjoy every little moment, guys! Bye for now!
