Valentine's Day has always been a love season for lovers. I have never for once celebrated Valentine's Day, except for the time my dad and mom went for a lovers dinner and they got chicken for i and my when they returned home. Probably with my ex which I can’t remember too.

Sometimes I feel like I’m a crocodile, or a potato 😃😃 I haven’t had a romantic valentine before, but this year was a different story, romance took me by surprise😏 I celebrated Valentine’s Day both indoor and outdoor. 😏🌚
On the 11th of February, I got a call from my girl saying she wanted to visit me for valentine and I said “You shouldn’t bother about that, you’re still in the university. Your school is far and I can’t even afford the transport” but she said “Can I come?” “Come if you like and can afford the transportation*”
14th came like a thief in the night but not to steal from me, but to present the most amazing person in the world to me. I was shocked when I saw her and happy at same time. Fast forward.
We had an indoor celebration after she had travelled a long distance that covered over 120 kilometer to meet the love of her life. On her arrival at my place, she took her bath and we went shopping with a friend.
Firstly we went to the market to get ingredients for Valentine’s Day dish, we did some shopping at the mall to get fruit juice. It was our first time shopping together. It was quite romantic. She was very happy as I drove round the city, we were playing cool music as we drove, 30BG music.
We drove home and had an indoor Valentine, I’m so happy because it's was just me and my queen. I was in the kitchen unpacking when she surprised me with my Val gift.
That’s half of it.
I wanted to show my cooking skills to her but she refuse and insisted that she would cook but I was with her in the kitchen watching as she slice the carrot while I tell her some amazing stories. I made video of every moment of her stay with me. we had rice and stew with fried fish and plantains.
After we finished eating, we had a long conversation, we prayed and slept with a pillow in between (my pastor might be reading this) before going to bed. The next morning, we continued our Valentine celebration. She suggested fried plantains and fried eggs for breakfast with juice, like I have never thought of that, such a brilliant woman. She prepared the breakfast, while she was doing that I was in the sitting room playing video game.
It was 15th already so we spent the day doing Netflix and chills. While we were watching movie, my mind was on hive because I haven’t written in a while and I’m sure the stuffs I wrote in those days weren’t giving at all.
It was a fun day, the following day, she prepared herself and she went back to school smiling because I took out of my HBD to sort the transportation. I just had to act like the romantic man that I am. It was a memorable moment for us both, I’m sure she’s missing me and wants to come back again. Anyways she’s like a sister to me. 😁😁😁
