Today am here to share with you on how I made my paper bead, using calendar.
During my secondary school days, our fine art teacher taught us how to turn paper into a beautiful bead, it was really amazing, since then I never forget the steps.
Have been thinking of what to make for myself,and then I happen to run into it on YouTube again, since I already had my calendar at home, I had to run to the nearby shop to get the remaining material I needed to make this amazing paper bead, which I use in making myself necklace and bracelet.
Material,
Gum
Calendar,
Scissors,
Ruler
Pencil,
Broomstick
Starting with the process:
Firstly, I took my calendar, fold it into two part.
I make a cut from where I folded, cutting it into two part.
Starting from one side, I measure 4cm each from the beginning to the end of the paper, also from the down side, I measure 4cm each to the end, using my pencil to mark it.
I start drawing my line from up to down and from down to up, making it give me v-line.
After drawing my line, I start making my cut, following the line I drew.
This is what I cut.
Then I started with my folding, using my broomstick.
Still at the process of folding, I added my gum,to make it not to loss.
I continue adding the gum while folding,untill it got to the end of the paper.
Here are my paper bead.
Material for making my bracelet,
Fishing line(Elastic)
Paper bead
Glass bead.
Process:
I cult a long fishing line
I inserted one(1) paper bead, then make it to be in the middle of the fishing line.
I inserted one(1) glass bead each to both lines,
And make a crossed, from left to right and from right to left with my paper bead.
I continue with the process ,till it gets to the length of my hand.
After getting to the length I want, I now join it with the other end by crossing from left to right and from right to left.
Here come my hand bracelet.
For my necklace,
With a long fishing line,
I inserted one (1) paper bead and i added three(3) glass bead to the line, then follow with my paper bead.
I continue the process till it gets to the length of my neck and inserted my hook.
Here is my necklace and bracelet.
