Hi there everyone, let me ask you a question, have you been in a situation where you had to block someone before on your phone?

I have had to block numbers on my phone a few times and I am glad it is easier now.

Whether it is unsolicited calls or people whom I would rather not talk to anymore, being able to block numbers is a great relief.

When using an iPhone, blocking a number is quite straightforward.

You only need to open up the Dialer app, select the number you want blocked from your Recent tab, and then click on it for this function.

In case it’s someone whose name appears in my contact list, I can find their name in my Contacts and block them there. This process has no frills; it gets right down to the point.

On Android phones, the process works just about the same way as with iPhones but may differ from one brand of phone to another.

For example on Samsung Galaxy I have to go through Dialtacts app>>Contacts >>[contact] >>Block Contact. It does contribute some relief when I feel like I have control over who accesses me via my phone.

Blocked numbers handling is also crucial. There are times when I feel like unblocking someone, maybe, we have made up or I discovered that I had blocked them by mistake.

On iPhones, I just access Settings then check for Blocked Contacts and afterwards choose to unblock them. This means that one has the power in their hands.

Android phones have a similar process for managing blocked numbers. For me, all it takes is going to Dialer app where I will find Settings and click on Blocked numbers.

Afterward, I can see who among them did I block and if there is need for me to unblock them. It’s about being able to choose who contacts me.

In general, both iPhones and Android phones make it very easy to block numbers. This makes eliminating unwanted calls and messages from my life very simple.

More so, having control over blocked number management gives me confidence that in case anything goes wrong I can always alter things.

In conclusion, I am grateful for the feature of blocking numbers on phones. It may be a little thing but it does make a lot of difference in my daily life.

The power to block numbers allows me to control how I use my phone and avoid spam calls or conversations that are not necessary.

Besides that, this feature will without doubt only keep getting better as smartphones become more sophisticated.
