We have been having these crazy pumps and crazy volume for HIVE and now Steem Dollars as the number 1 trending asset on CoinGecko with $1,054,684,914 of 24 Hour Volume coming from Upbit. Pretty insane and we have seen this before. They pump the SBD way up so it breaks way away from $1. STEEM will usually follow as well because people will buy into STEEM to farm for the STEEM Dollar because all the payouts once the SBD is printing is more than 5X what someone would normally be getting paid for posts. We have seen it go as high as $14 back in the 2017/2018 cycle and over $12 in the 2021 bull run.
Hopefully it does fly up to those price levels. These dudes must have hella bags to slam it with over a billion of volume in 24 Hours.
