    Hello Hivers...

On this happy occasion, I share some photos of the activities of the rafting athletes who will compete on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Although the competition is still a few days away, the athletes are filling their free time by practicing at the location of the competition that will take place later, one of which is the DKI Jakarta rafting athletes.

The 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week (PON) presents various fascinating sports, one of which is the rafting competition held on the Alas River. The river, located on the border of Aceh and North Sumatra, is known for its challenging currents and stunning views, making it an ideal location for rafting competitions.

This competition not only tests the skills and physical endurance of participants, but also provides an opportunity for them to enjoy the beauty of untouched nature. The fast-flowing Alas River with large rocks and challenging rapids offers adrenaline-pumping challenges, as well as calming natural beauty.

Participants from various regions will compete in the team category, where they must demonstrate their ability to navigate the fast currents and overcome existing obstacles. The assessment criteria include speed, technique, and team strategy in overcoming the challenges on the river.

In addition to being a competition, this rafting competition also functions as a tourism promotion for the Aceh and North Sumatra regions. By highlighting the potential of natural tourism through sporting events, it is hoped that it can attract more visitors and support the local economy.

As part of the Aceh-North Sumatra PON, the rafting competition on the Alas River is not only an interesting spectacle, but also a form of celebration of togetherness and an inspiring sporting spirit. Participants and spectators are expected to be able to feel an unforgettable experience amidst the extraordinary natural beauty of Indonesia.
