Being a STEM student has not been easy. There are so many things to study, from solving difficult math problems to writing long research papers. Sometimes, it feels like my brain is about to explode from all the information I need to remember. There were nights when I barely got any sleep because of deadlines and exams. I won’t lie, there were moments when I asked myself, “Why did I choose this track?”. But even with all the struggles, I still found joy in learning. That feeling of finally understanding a hard lesson or completing a math problem successfully made all the stress worth it.
Aside from my studies, I also have responsibilities as an SSLG officer. Balancing my academics and leadership duties was really tough. There were times when I felt so overwhelmed, running around school to help organize events, make M.O.M's or accomplish reports while also trying to finish my schoolwork.
But despite the pressure, I loved what I was doing. Seeing students enjoy the activities we planned and knowing that I was helping in my own little way made me feel proud and happy.
Lately, though, everything has felt so exhausting. The stress, the never-ending tasks, and the pressure to do well, it’s been a lot to handle. But then, there are moments when I find peace in the simplest things. The other day, after a long, tiring day, I looked up at the sky. The sunset was so beautiful, with its mix of soft orange and pink colors.
It was just a normal sunset, something I see every day, but at that moment, it made me feel calm. It reminded me that no matter how hard things get, life still has its little beautiful moments.
As this school year comes to an end, I feel a mix of emotions. I’m relieved that I survived, proud of what I’ve accomplished, but also a little sad that this chapter is ending. But just like the sunset I saw, I know that endings are just a part of new beginnings. There are still so many things ahead, and I’m ready to face them, one step at a time.
That is all for today’s blog my dear readers! Thank you for being with me today. As I continue this journey, I @miyasomi, look forward to sharing more insights, lessons learned, and perhaps a few more simple joys that make the hard work worthwhile. Until next time, keep pursuing your dreams with determination, and don’t forget to appreciate the beauty in the everyday moments. Bye-bye 💞
