We are team Philosophers and we plan on solving a problem faced in the stock market. We got to know about hive at the Vihaan007 hackathon in DTU. The most critical challenge faced by investors in today’s world is the accurate prediction of stock prices in the market. This is because overload of information, subjective interpretation of sentiment which changes from person to person, limited understanding of market dynamics, market volatility, and risk management. So in order to excel in the long run, an effective and efficient model must be made to predict the market prices.
Traditionally what happens is that stock investors spend hours analyzing previous patterns to predict what will happen to their price in the future. But this is a very long and tedious task.
What we plan to do:
Graph Analysis for Insight: Employ graph analysis to uncover insights from data points like stock correlations, industry relationships, and market trends.
Sentiment Analysis for Prediction: Utilize sentiment analysis on diverse textual data from news articles, social media, and financial forums to predict stock price movements.
