Hello all and welcome back to the splinterlands furnace, a place where we burn Splinterlands cards on a regular basis

Today is Wednesday, Nov. 20th, 2024

Todays funding pool for the burn is based upon the following post:
    https://hive.blog/splinterlands/@illegal-migrant/maybe-now-is-the-time-to-burn-cards

Total of 0.295 HBD in liquid rewards

This was converted into 1.26 hive and then into 370 dec, giving us roughly 29 cents to purchase and burn a card!

I am in the mood to burn some early edition card so we are settling on a beta edition to throw into the fire.

    Today we burn - CENTAUR

    Final Thoughts on CENTAUR

I remember back in the day that this card was the goat for common cards. In the beginning things were quite a bit simpler and the variety of cards was small so the battles really depended on having certain cards in specific positions.
Centaur was a great card during the early days being that it was neutral and could be used with any splinter along with having Snipe (not many cards had snipe) and it had enough health to survive.
Obviously upgrading the cards is where the value comes into to play as Centaur would get damage of 2 at a low level of 4.
This card was definitely a must have for low level players and high end players during the early stages of the game.

I honestly miss the early days and this centaur card has some nostalgia to it.

    FEELS GREAT TO BURN

    How Splinterlands furnace works

It is very simple process with the goal of lowering the supply and increasing value of splinterland cards.

    • Vote on my Burn posts
    • I will use all the liquid reward payouts to swap into DEC and purchase and burn splinterlands cards.
    • The more votes the posts get, the better quality cards we can burn!
    • I will keep the HP rewards that are automatically powered up
    • As this account gains more voting power, I will most likely delegate it to a splinterlands curation bot.

The more cards we can burn, the more everyone wins!

As a long time splinterlands player, I am looking forward to having some fun with this plan
If anyone has any ideas or thoughts to add, please leave a comment, I would love to hear some feedback on this
